Schuss 301 is situated in Val Claret, the highest village in Tignes.It is no more than 200 metres from virtually all the shops/bars/restaurants and is approximately 400 metres from the ski lifts providing access to the Grande Motte Glacier and the Espace Killy ski area.Situated on the third floor ,the south west facing balcony looks up to the Glacier and the pistes. Fully refurbished in November 2006, the apartment was 4 star rated by Tignes Tourist Office and is a home from home suitable for a family or couples. The apartment has been finished to a high standard internally with a double bedroom, bunk room and leather sofa bed to the lounge. The shower room is finished in French Limestone and the kitchen has everything you need after a hard day on the slopes.The main bedroom has views over the mountains/golf course and lake. All you need after a hard day in the finest ski area in Europe!

The Rhone / French Alps / Savoie region
The Savoie Region of France is a mecca for skiers of all abilities from across Europe. As well as Espace Killy, the region is home to the Three Valleys and dozens of other ski resorts we Brits flock to every winter. Apart from the stunning mountain scenery, the area benefits from some of Europes most beautiful lakes which are enjoyed by millions of visitors throughout the year. Anyone interested in the Great Outdoors cannot fail to be impressed by the range of activities on offer. Apart from skiers, the region plays host to mountaineers, hill walkers, water sports enthusiasts, families and touring parties. If shopping or eating out is your thing then a trip to Annecy is a must. However most people think of the Savoie as an incredible ski region and who are we to argue.
Tignes / Val Claret area
Val Claret is the highest of the villages making up Tignes with arguably the best access to the ski lifts and many would argue the best night life/shops /restaurants. This very compact village has everything a serious skier would want and offers restaurants for every taste and budget. If you are travelling with children Val Claret has 2 kids ski schools and plenty of kiddy friendly restaurants. In summer Val Claret is handily placed to the golf course and is right beside the funicular railway for the summer skiers and mountain bike riders. A Sherpa supermarket is situated in the village centre for all your self catering needs.
How to get there
1 By Air- the nearest airport is Chambery , 1.5 hours away, served by Flybe and Jet2. Lyon and Geneva are 2.75 hours away and are served by Easyjet, Flybe, Jet2, BA and BMI. Grenoble is also 2.75 hours away and is served by Ryanair. All these airports have all the main car rental companies for your connection to Tignes. 2 By car Tignes is approximately 10 hours away from Calais if you fancy driving down the excellent French motorway network.On arrival at Tignes your car can be parked in the multi storey car park 100 metres from the apartment. 3 You can now take the Snow Train from St Pancras which goes all the way to Bourg St Maurice, 20 miles from Tignes, then catch a taxi up to Tignes.

Further details indoors: The flat screen TV is connected to a Freeview Satellite system providing access to dozens of British and European channels.Please don't wear high heels or ski boots inside as the floors are finished in French oak.
Further details outdoors: There are excellent views of the mountains/pistes/golf course from the balcony.The reception area is manned by a full time receptionist and allows access to wi-fi internet. A ski room with allocated locker is located next to the front door and a boot room again with locker is next to the lift. For those arriving early or leaving late on the Saturday you can leave luggage and get changed in the Bagagerie at the rear of the Nevada Building next to our apartment block.

On arrival you will be met by English representatives who will hand over/collect your keys and will answer any questions you may have. A welcome pack can be provided if arranged in advance.
Conditions
To secure your booking we ask for a 25% deposit up front with the balance to be paid six weeks before arrival. A damage deposit is asked for on arrival which will be refunded as soon as the apartment has been checked on your departure.If you are a smoker we would ask that you do so on the balcony.
