The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

Argyll is one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. It is dramatic and unspoiled, full of hills and lochs - the perfect place to restore your faith in the beauty of the world. Tighnabruaich is a small village with stunning views across to Bute. It has always been a great favourite with sailors and was originally accessed by the sea. The Waverley still visits during the summer when theres planty of activity on the water from kayaks and yachts to rowing skiffs to the annual raft race in July. The hillsides provide plenty of walks and cycling opportunities with some great picnic spots. We have some great pubs and bars where the hospitality is legendary with loch fyne Ale, local scallops, lobsters and langoustine. There are a number of local bands, a music fest in May and any excuse for a ceilidh!

Tighnabruaich

Tighnabruaich is at the tip of the Cowal Peninsula just 2 hours west of Glasgow. It is an area of aoutstanding natural beauty with hills and lochs. Tighnabruaich looks south towards Bute and Arran. It is 10 minutes away from Loch Fyne and a car ferry there takes you to Kintyre
