Overlooking two of South Devon’s most beautiful beaches on a headland next to the famous Thurlestone links golf course, Links Court (formerly the Links Hotel) is a development of apartments set in 3 acres of superb private grounds with its own private heated swimming pool and within easy reach of the popular village and the fantastic beaches of South Milton Sands and Bantham. The South Hams is one of the most scenic and beautiful locations within the United Kingdom with spectacular coastal walks and in close proximity to the rugged inland walks of Dartmoor. The apartment is situated only 15 minutes by car from the thriving sailing community of Salcombe with its up market shops, bars and restaurants.
Thurlestone area
Thurlestone Golf Club, Tennis Club, the Village Inn, The 5 star Thurlestone Hotel and the 15th century church are all within walking distance of the apartment. A short drive will take you to Salcombe, Hope Cove, Bigbury-on-Sea, Burgh Island and Dartmouth and no more than half an hour by car will take you to Plymouth, Torquay and Exeter. The local beaches have some of the best windsurfing and body-boarding locations in the south west and the many country pubs throughout the region provide an ideal setting for all your dining and drinking requirements.
How to get there
By road, take the M5 south to south west. Just after Exeter M5 becomes A38. Stay in right hand lanes where A38 forks right up the hill towards Plymouth. Stay on A38 until you see the A384 Totnes turn off. Follow signs for Totnes and then once in Totnes follow A381 signs to Kingsbridge.
At Kingsbridge follow signs for A381 to Salcombe. After passing through the village of West Alvington you will see a sign to turn right to Plymouth and Thurlestone as well. That road is the B 3197. Go along there for approx half mile then turn left at the sign for Thurlestone. Just follow the road for approx 2-3 miles into Thurlestone village. Keep going straight down the hill and through the village past the church on your right and then the golf club on your right. You will then see on the top of the hill to your right behind the 1st green (an easy par 4 by the way!!) a large detached house and behind that a cream building which is Links Court. Take next right turn and then after approx 50 yards turn right into Links Court. The entrance to Flat 9 is around the back of the wing immediately facing you as you turn into the car park.
By train, travel to Totnes then hire a taxi and follow the directions above.

KITCHEN Open plan contemporary kitchen with electric oven and grill, ceramic hob with extractor and light over, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer. Stone flooring and large granite work surfaces. Four stools to a breakfast bar at the side of the kitchen.
SITTING ROOM / DINING AREA Open plan area with round, wooden dining table and four chairs (two more available). Sitting room has a three seater sofa bed and two large armchairs. Flat-screen LCD television with DVD/CD player and BOSE iPod docking station.
BEDROOMS Three in total. Master bedroom with king size double bed, bedside tables and lamps, flatscreen plasma colour television and built in wardrobe. En-suite shower room with shower cubicle, w.c, wash hand-basin and heated towel rail. Second bedroom with double bed, bedside tables and lamps, built in wardrobe and dressing table. Access through to the family bathroom. Third bedroom has metal framed 3’ bunk beds, bedside table and chest-of-drawers. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels included (except those for the beach).
BATHROOMS In addition to the en-suite, there is a large family bathroom comprising a partly sunken bath, two wash hand-basins, w.c, large mirrors and lighting.

Conditions
Changeover day is Saturday and all guests must vacate by 10.00 am to facilitate cleaning and laundry services. The apartment will not be available for occupation until 4.00 pm each Saturday.
