All accommodations are located within the grounds of Mas San Julian a total area in excess of 4 acres, but communal parkland of some 2.5, along with 15 x 7.5 m heated swimming pool, large superb modern play room offering soft play, childrens table and chairs for colouring or games, wide screen TV, table football and pool table. The outside Camelot Castle play area with swings, slide, towers, climbing wall, sand pit and table tennis. All this with stunning views of the Pyrenees and within supervision region of the lodges allowing adults to relax whilst the children can enjoy their freedom.

There are many places close to Mas San Julian that offer the opportunity for a few hours sight-seeing and a wide variety of places a little further away which guarantee a great day out.
A trip out to the coast will take you through the beautiful old town of Elne with its cathedral and stunning views. The beaches of the Cote Vermeille offer mile upon mile of wide, sandy beaches stretching from Argeles, St Cyprien (home of Aqualand) and onto Canet Plage.
Whatever your hobby or interest, this region will captivate you and lure you back time and again to continue a journey of discovery and experience the wonderful, unspoilt atmosphere of rural France.
Thuir is a traditional French market town oozing with character and charm. The bustling market on a Saturday morning is tempting with the fresh local produce and paints a vivid picture of French Life. The small town has numerous good quality, friendly restaurants, bars, traiteurs, boutiques and boulangeries as well as two supermarkets, post office, tabac etc.
Thuir itself houses the largest oak vat in the world at Les Caves Byrrh and an interesting tour of the facilities where Pernod and Dubonnet are made. Castelnou, just 6 kms is a wonderful example of a fortified village sleeping peacefully behind its ramparts and enclosing a secret maze of artisans’ workshops and restaurants serving fantastic local produce.
The Pyrenees, constantly in view and a short drive away, will take you to many beautiful and interesting destinations including Prades, the birthplace of Cellist Pablo Casals and Villefranche-de-Conflent. Villefranche-de-Conflent is a fortified town dating back to the 11th and 15th centuries and a good place to catch ‘Le train Jaune’ if you prefer not to drive on the mountain roads.
