The area is ideal for cycling with many designated 'quiet lanes'. Close by is a cycle track along a disused railway line that gives a unique opportunity to explore unspoilt Norfolk with its abundance of wildlife. The more ambitious cyclist may like to attempt the full route into Norwich.

Easily accessible too, are the picturesque villages of the North Norfolk coast, much loved by sailors and offering a number of RSPB reserves, lovely coastal footpath walks and seal-watching trips. Good fishing and a choice of golf courses can be found within 5 miles.

Norfolk is very rich in terms of heritage with several National Trust properties to visit including nearby Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall.

"Great place to stay!! Brilliant base to explore North Norfolk."

We spent new year here with our two young daughters.. On arrival we were greeted by the owners and a freshly home baked cake & milk in the fridge.. I was worried it would be cold there, far from it, it was very cozy and a home from home. We loved it and will most definitely return!!
