The Yorkshire region
The cottage is ideally placed for York and the coast offering something for everyone. There are many beautiful local walks, cycling is also very popular in the region. The North York Moors are a short drive away leading to the wonderful coastline of Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and Sandsend and further down the coast Filey. There is also a steam railway between Pickering and Whitby
When visiting York which is steeped in history there is an abundance of things to do for all ages.
The cottage is in a quiet rural village which sits 1.2miles from the A64 main road between York and Scarborough which gives easy access to all the local market towns. There are two local pubs, excellent butcher, post office and general store together with an award winning fish and chip shop situated in Rillington approximately one mile from the cottage.
There are golfing and horse riding facilities nearby together with a swimming pool and cinema and numerous restaurants in Malton.
