'Lake View' is a luxuriously appointed duplex penthouse apartment that enjoys spectacular, unrivalled views of Lake Geneva & the surrounding Jura mountains. The views can be enjoyed from two levels of balcony exiting from the spacious lounge or master bedroom, a perfect location for enjoying 'al fresco' meals or pre dinner drinks!
A car is advised; however we can arrange airport transfers for you from Geneva.
All the village amenities are within 150 meters of the accommodation including the excellent ESF ski school (where English is spoken by most instructors) supermarket, restaurants, bars and ski hire shop .
We welcome families and large groups however we ask that you do not smoke inside the apartment .Lift access is available to all floors including the secure garage and ski storage room.

The duplex accommodation includes :
level 1 -Spacious master en suite bedroom opening on to sunny balcony with private seating area : en suite bathroom with power shower and heated towel rails together with designer bathroom and bedroom cabinets and furniture:
level 2- the large open plan lounge and dining area with magnificent views of the Lake, extended by the private,sunny balcony.
The living area is luxuriously furnished with leather sofas, designer cabinets and furniture, flat screen plasma HD TV with DVD, Freeview /SKY TV channels, BOSE iPod docking station and a large library of DVDs and CDs.A PS 2 console with assorted games is also available (with a separateTV if required.)
The bespoke kitchen is fully equipped, comprising ceramic 4 ring hob, fan assisted oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and all essential crockery and serving dishes. On the same level is the large vaulted ceiling family bathroom, walk in power shower, bath, heated towel rails and bespoke cabinets.

A secure garage and separate basement cave is available for skis, bikes, scooters, sledges, etc which our guests are free to use during their stay.
In the summer, two folding beach chairs, a sun parasol, sun screen tent (for children), picnic hamper, beach mats and towels are available for guests to use free of charge.
Refundable breakages deposit required on booking (£100), to be refunded within a week of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% of rental fee due on booking to secure booking.
Remainder of rental fee due eight weeks before your stay.
This is our home from home in the Alps and is fully equipped with every possible comfort of home.We have plenty of cooking essentials: herbs, sauces,salt,pepper, tea bags, coffee etc. which you are free to use.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with new full size fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the usual 'mod cons'.Tea towels,dishcloths,washing up liquid etc is also available to get you started.
The end of stay cleaning charge of €50 (approx) is payable locally.
New, modern, high quality cotton bed linen and luxury towels (hand and bath sheets) are provided at a cost of €15 per double bed and €12 per single bed (to cover the laundry charge only )
Should you wish to have the penthouse serviced during your stay; this too can be arranged locally.
The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
Thollon-les-Mémises lies in Eastern France in the French Alps. It is a pretty village in the most traditional Alpine style, and views are stunning whether it's winter or summer. The village is known as the Balcony of the Léman, due to its location overlooking the beautiful, Lake Geneva. The views from Thollon-les-Mémises are so glorious that they are actually mentioned in the Michelin Guide, which is quite an accolade for such a small village!
Down on the lakeside, Geneva, Montreaux and Lausanne are all reachable within the hour, by car or boat. The spa town of Evian (10 minute drive) has numerous beaches, a fantastic outdoor swimming complex housing a 50 meter outdoor pool, play areas, golf, boat hire , traditional outdoor markets and, of course, the thermal spa and casino. It also has some excellent restaurants.
Also close by, on the Swiss Lakeside, is the ‘Vapeur Park’, (model railway) large Aquaparc, zoo and Labyrinth Park to name but a few. There really is so much to do, yet it is also very easy to sit back ,relax and savour the glorious views.
The Thollon les Memises area
Just over an hours drive from Geneva airport the beautiful traditional village of Thollon les Memises can be reached.This delightful village enjoys a superb family atmosphere and magnificent views of Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) and the SwissJura mountains.
Thollon is an ideal location for Winter and Summer and is a superb base to explore other areas of the region.There is excellent skiing to be enjoyed in Thollon and neighbouring Bernex (3 miles away)
Twelve miles away from the village,the vast ski area of the Portes du Soleil can be reached and encompasses twelve interlinked resorts on either side of the Swiss and French border.
In France the resort s include Avoriaz, Chatel ,La Chapelle d’Abondance ,Morzine ,Les Gets and St Jean d’ Alps.
In Switzerland the resorts include Champery ,Morgins, Les Crosets and Torgon.
There’s a wonderful 650 kilometres of pisted runs to explore with distant views of Lake Geneva in one direction and the majestic Mont Blanc in the other
The area enjoys an excellent snow record with nearly 9 meters of powder falling on the higher levels from November to April. The size of the ski area means there is something for all abilities including 9 snow parks for those that like a challenge.. !
In Summer ,hiking, white water rafting, swimming, horse riding, golf ,sailing and cycling, are all available on your doorstep. Sailing on tranquil Lake Geneva is a must as are visits to numerous Swiss destinations including Lausanne and the Castle of Chilleon at Montreaux.

Car hire is available from Europcar, Hertz, Avis, Budget, National and Sixt .Car hire agent's we have used include Holiday Autos and Kayak-both are excellent .
NB car hire from the French side of Geneva airport is usually 10% cheaper than from the Swiss side.
Other Airports : Lyon and Chambery also accessible 2-3 hrs drive approx from the village, with a variety of international airlines.
