‘Lake View’ is a luxuriously appointed duplex penthouse apartment that enjoys spectacular, unrivalled views of Lake Geneva & the surrounding Jura mountains. The views can be enjoyed from two levels of balcony exiting from the lounge or master bedroom, a perfect location for enjoying ‘al fresco’ meals or pre dinner drinks!
A car is advised; however we can arrange airport transfers for you from Geneva.
All the village amenities are within 150 meters of the accommodation including the excellent ESF ski school (where English is spoken by most instructors) supermarket, restaurants, bars and ski hire shop (where we have negotiated a reduction in ski hire fees for our guests!)
We welcome families and large groups however we ask that you do not smoke inside the apartment .Lift access is available to all floors including the secure garage and ski storage room.
‘Lake View’ sleeps 6 people in luxury (in three separate double bedrooms) and 8 if required.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The village of Thollon-les-Mémises lies in Eastern France in the French Alps. It is a pretty village in the most traditional Alpine style, and views are stunning whether it is Winter or Summer. The village is known as the Balcony of the Léman, due to its location overlooking the beautiful Lake Geneva. The views from Thollon-les-Mémises are so glorious that they are actually mentioned in the Michelin Guide, which is quite an accolade for such a small village!
Down on the lakeside, Geneva, Montreaux and Lausanne are all reachable within the hour, by car or boat. The spa town of Evian (10 minute drive) has numerous beaches, an outdoor swimming complex, play areas, golf, boating, outdoor markets and, of course, the thermal spa and casino. It also has some excellent restaurants.
Also close by, on the Swiss Lakeside, is the ‘Vapeur Park’, (model railway) large Aquaparc, zoo and Labyrinth park to name but a few. There really is so much to do in the surrounding area, yet it is also very easy to sit back and do little but enjoy the views.
Thollon les Memises area
Just as hours drive from Geneva airport the beautiful traditional village of Thollon les Memises can be reached.This delightful village enjoys a superb family atmosphere and magnificent views of Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) and the SwissJura mountains.
Thollon is an ideal location for Winter and Summer and is a superb base to explore other areas of the region.There is excellent skiing to be enjoyed in Thollon and neighbouring Bernex (3 miles away)
Twelve miles away from the village,the vast ski area of the Portes du Soleil can be reached and encompasses twelve interlinked resorts on either side of the Swiss and French border.
In France the resort s include Avoriaz, Chatel ,La Chapelle d’Abondance ,Morzine ,Les Gets and St Jean d’ Alps.
In Switzerland the resorts include Champery ,Morgins, Les Crosets and Torgon.
There’s a wonderful 650 kilometres of pisted runs to explore with distant views of Lake Geneva in one direction and the majestic Mont Blanc in the other
The area enjoys an excellent snow record with nearly 9 meters of powder falling on the higher levels from November to April. The size of the ski area means there is something for all abilities including 9 snow parks for those that like a challenge.. !
In Summer ,hiking, white water rafting, swimming, horse riding, golf ,sailing and cycling, are all available on your doorstep. Sailing on tranquil Lake Geneva is a must as are visits to numerous Swiss destinations including Lausanne and the Castle of Chilleon at Montreaux.

On the same level is the large vaulted ceiling family bathroom, walk in power shower, bath, heated towel rails and bespoke cabinets.

This is our home from home in the Alpes and is fully equipped with every possible comfort of home.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with new full size fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the usual 'mod cons'.
New bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided ,and an 'end of stay cleaning service' can be arranged ,following your departure for a fee of approx 60 Euro,to be paid locally.

Visited this amazing holiday apartment in March 2008, recommended by friends, 4 forty-something’s, 3 skiers, 1 novice. It was complete luxury! The whole package, comfort, facilities, modern technologies contained with the penthouse were brilliant! Apartment location brilliant, village centre, a small convenience store 25 yards from the front door. A walk to the ski bubble. The happy hour in the bar at the top of the car park was fun, cheap and very much a wind-down place for the end of the day, the restaurants a mere 250 yards or so from the apartment block, excellent value food, and the skiing, even though it was March, was perfect for novices and 40-something girls having a long weekend getting away from it all ! And thanks for arranging our transfers, they worked perfectly! So, all in all, thank you Steve, Maria and family for a lovely long weekend. Will be there again soon we hope ! Spent a week in February 2009. Absolutely luxurious penthouse apartment, everything you could ever imagine available, comfy beds, lounge furniture, sky TV !, dining area, top range modern kitchen and appliances, fabulous showers. Everywhere beautifully thought through. Views unbeatable from the windows and balconies facing Lake Geneva. Location perfect, less than an hour from Geneva and Montreaux. Many places to visit. Nice restaurants in the village and bars with WiFi too ! Even a garage for the car when the snow came down. Not all our party were skiers, but all thoroughly enjoyed equally and went up to the ski area in the bubble and had some lovely mountain walks with views again that cannot be beaten. Beautiful.
