1 L'Ours Blanc is a modern apartment on the ground floor of a small apartment block in the centre of Thollon Les Memises. It is ideal for both summer and winter holidays with large areas just outside the apartment block where children can play safely.
The apartment is well equipped and has a doulbe bedroom, a coin montage (bunk beds in the large hallway) and also a lounge with double sofa bed. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with 4 ring hob, small oven, toaster, kettle and fridge with small freezer compartment. The living area is comfortable and is equipped with DVD player and radio/cd.
There is a large balcony off the living room which is perfect for summertime breakfasts overlooking the lake or watching the children play in both summer and winter.
The new ski run to the village enables skiing right back to the apartments. All village amenities and the ski lift are only 200 mts away.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Haute-Savoie region is one of the most popular holiday areas in France for both summer and winter holidays. With its excellent skiing areas and lakes and rivers for a multitude of summer water sports and swimming there is little to beat this area for the perfect break. It is the ideal place to either sit back and relax or go cycling, walking or play golf if you prefer something a bit more active.
Thollon les Memises area
Thollon Les Memesis is a beauttiful village nestled in the mountains above Evian overlooking Lake Geneva (also known as Lac Leman). The views are stunning in both summer and winter and it is the perfect place to relax.
Thollon has its own ski area of approximately 60 kms accessed by the telecabin in the middle of the village and the vast Portes Du Soleil ski area is only a short drive away. There are a number of good restaurants in Thollon serving local specialities.
Evian is only a short drive away and has a vast number of tourist attractions and facilities including beaches, heated swimming pools, golf course, mini golf, thermal spa and also excellent shops and retaurants. The area is fantastic for cycling, walking and hiking. A short boat ride from Evian will take you to Luasanne in Switzerland which is simply stunning and well worth a visit.
How to get there
Thollon Les Memises is only approximately 60 kms from Geneva. Low cost flights are available with Easyjet, British Airways and many other providers. Car Hire from either Swiss or French side at Geneva airport is easy followed by a pleasant drive following the lake from Geneva to Evian. Alternatively a train can be taken to evian followed by a short taxi ride. Taxi transfered are also available at reasonable cost from the airport.
