Two bedroomed Duplex apartment with Mezzanine, Full bathroom 2 bedrooms,( 1 with balcony)and Mezzanine That sleeps 2 on upper floor. Dining/ living room, with sofa bed (double) wc and balcony on lower floor. Both Balconies have mountain views. Private parking space with access through building ( very helpful in winter)
Easy to get to by Air Road or Rail.
In Winter there is Skiing from the village (a new slope is being built to allow you to ski right into the village)or many other resorts within about an hours drive. Avoriaz/Morzine Bernex Chatel etc. In the Summer one can go hillwalking Mountaineering Rockclimbing Mountainbiking etc and sailing on Lake Geneva as well as fabulous boat trips and sightseeing,
There is a ski school as well as several Ski hire shops in the Village. Mountain Bikes can be hired in the Village. There is horse riding and Golf and tennis near by. There is a Sailing School in Evian that offers lessons from beginers up as well as boat hire. There are several outdoor swimming pools/ beaches on the lake. There is an indoor pool with slides etc nearby (30km) as well as an Aqua Parc just over the Swiss border (40km)

The area has a typical Alpine climate, cold in winter perfect for skiing and warm summers for those who enjoy outside activities. The area can be as active or relaxing, as you like. There is much you can do within easy reach.
Geneva, Laussanne, Montreaux are all less than an hours Drive or a Pleasant boat trip by scheduled steamer on the Lake. Genoa, Milan Turin are only a few hours away, Across the Italian border.
Thollon les Memises area
Winter Thollon is a quiete village Ski resort away from the crowds with approximately 18km of Ski runs, the nearby Ski resort of Bernex is within 15min drive both are suitable for the beginner and the more advanced skier. The major resorts of Chatel and Avoriaz are within easy driving distance about 30 and 40min. Ski hire is available in the village. Chamonix is about an hours drive away.
Summer In summer the area really comes alive, there is so much to do its difficult to know where to start. The village is quiet and perfect for relaxation, mountain-walking , bike riding or just taking in the outstanding views. The nearby Lakeside town of Evian is just down the mountain is about a 10min drive.
Evian
Evian with its pretty floral displays in summer is a very and clean French Lakeside town famous for its bottled water and spa. The town has a single avenue of local small shops, you won't find a department store here, but you will find the usual banks a post office as well as restaurants and bars.
The promenade runs from the marina to the west along past the paddle steamer port and casino to the Centre Nautique which is a large outdoor swimming complex. Here you will find two large swimming pools, toddler's pools water skiing and a flume. There is also swimming and diving in the lake and sailing boat hire, Restaurant and bar. The cost per person for the day is only about £3
Geneva is an hours drive or a relaxing train journey. away With its fantastic shopping and its open air Fleamarket it is a great outing.
How to get there
Fly to Geneva Easyjet, Aerlingus, Ba, hire car at French side of Airport, (Cheaper) Fly to St Etienne (Ryanair) TGV to Evian, taxi from Evian. around €20. Drive from Channel ports/ Tunnel, nice drive down/ fillup with wine etc on return.
