Thollon Les Memises

The apartment is superbly situated and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. It opens onto a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the superb views. The apartment block is situated right next to the ski lift (Telecabine), ski school and ski hire and with the advantage of being able to ski right back to the door.
Bars and restaurants within 100 metres.

The village is in a beautiful setting with views to the mountains and Lake Geneva (Lac Leman). It is a small friendly resort which is perfect for family skiing.

A studio apartment which sleeps 4 as there is a sofa bed in the lounge and bunk beds in the 'coin mointagne' hall. There is a 'cave' for your ski gear.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

This is a beautiful region of France with both mountains and lake, making it a very popular destination for skiers and walkers. It is within easy access to the Portes du Soleil ski region which offers 650km of slopes.

The local area offers plenty for everyone to do including, mountain biking, horseriding, paragliding, swimming and water sports.

The Thollon les Memises area

Thollon Les Memises is a very friendly village where every visitor is made to feel very welcome.

Evian Les Bains is a delightful spa town with numerous beaches, golf, water sports and local markets.
Boats sail frequently between Evian and the Swiss towns of Lausanne, Montreaux and of course Geneva.

"I used this very convenient small ski apartment out of season. I found it ideal as a base for exploring the many very beautiful lake,mountain,town & village sights which abound around lake Geneva. After a full day out walking, exploring or relaxing, the sun came streaming in through the window late afternoon and evening. Marie is a most relaxed and helpful owner. The local people, Ann from the tourist office,shopkeepers,bar and restaurant owners are fun to get to know and are helpful & entertaining.A car is vital,either your own or rented.Ideal for long stays if you are retired,shorter stays if not. Excellent for walkers or sight seeing.'

I have stayed in this property a number of times over the years, and keep going back. It is very convenient for the ski lift as well as being well placed if you want to travel to other ski areas. If you want a compact good value base, would strongly recommend.
