This fantastic apartment is located in the small alpine village of Thollon Les Memises, on the french side of the border with Switzerland and is a fifteen minute drive from the spa resort of Evian on lake Geneva.
A wonderful factor of this apartment is that you can actually ski from the slopes directly to the front door.
The apartment offers a balcony with fantastic views of the mountain range and has a patio table, parasol and chairs for you to relax and unwind while enjoying the impressive view.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The village is high above the lake and has spectacular views,being known as Le Balcon Du Lemna. Across lake Geneva the mountains of the Jura and the Bernese Oberland lie behind the Swiss towns of Lausanne and Montreux. The location is superb in both summer and winter because although well known for winter sports, the area around the lake has the reputation of having a mediterranean like climate.
A worthwhile drive is to visit the village of Chatel, passing through Bernex and the valley of Abondance. Abondance itself is a pretty village with an interesting monastery you can visit. Once you have looked around Chatel, continue towards Morgins (Switzerland), the views are spectacular. Negotiate the series of hairpin bends all the way down to Monthey and return to Thollon along the lakeside via Evian, perhaps taking drinks or a meal on the lakeside at Le Bouveret, St Gingolph or Melliere. (The villages look sombre but have wonderful lakeside promenades with restaurants,hidden away from the main road).

Thollon is a ski village in it own right on the edge of a vast Alpine Ski area known as Port du Soleil. Close by resorts are: Bernex, Chatel, Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz

Further details indoors: The apartment is ideal for up to four people, having one main bedroom with double bed and an upstairs mezzanine floor with two single beds, the ceiling slopes over the mezzanine.
The lounge area has a range of furniture including Satellite TV / DVD player and a sofa bed.
The kitchen / dining area is fully equipped with table and chairs, cooking is all electric and includes a microwave oven. There is also a fridge.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, and a separate w/c. Heating and hot water are electric.
Further details outdoors: The apartment itself is just a short walk from the telecabine which takes you straight to the top of the mountain where there are endless walks and more great views.
The village offers a selection of good restaurants and bars a supermarket and there are regular local markets whic sell local produce such as cheese, honey and jewellery. The village is just a 10 - 15 minute walk from the apartment.
Two weeks prior to your departure we require a refundable breakages deposit of £100, this will be repaid within 4 weeks of your return minus any deductions.
Please note that prices are for the apartment and not per person, apartment sleeps 4 people.
