Savoie (Arpitan : Savouè d’Avâl) is a French department located in the Rhône-Alpes (Rôno-Arpes) region in the French Alps.

The Three Valleys / Les Menuires area
Les Menuires is a ski resort in the Belleville valley of Les Trois Vallées, owned and operated by Compagnie des Alpes.
The resort has 48 restaurants, 39 ski lifts and 62 trails. The resort has advanced ski slopes and beginner slopes. The resort also hosted some of the games of the 1992 Winter Olympics. Its slopes are connected to more than 600km of slopes in Les Trois Vallées, making it a part of the largest skiable area in the world. The resort has not only skiing facilities, but also offers a range of other activities.
The resort was founded in 1964 and has an altitude range of 1.85 kilometres. It has the nickname "Les Manures" among some tourists due to its unsightly tower blocks.
How to get there
BY CAR
A6 Motorway to Lyon, then the A43 until Albertville, then the dual carriageway to Moûtiers and the D915 up to Les Menuires. The residence is located in the Reberty 1850 district
