Enjoy the peaceful, secluded location in a lakeside wooden cabin, on our 300-acre working farm. Surrounded by 1.5 acres of gorgeous gardens overlooking the lake, this scrumptious self-catering cabin offers unique charm and romance. Beautifully decorated in up to date shabby chic style, with wonderful views from the veranda, across the lake to pasture/parkland. Ideal for honeymoons, romantic breaks, walkers, business visits, and convenient for foreign travellers as only 30 minutes from Heathrow airport. Wonderful, tranquil, rural setting on the edge of a small village bordering Oxford South at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, with no passing traffic.

Sit on the veranda with a glass of wine enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings with the scene of sheep, cattle and grandchildren's ponies peacefully grazing. See the red kites soaring above, or perching in the native black popular by the lake, the green woodpecker on the lawn, the squirrels burying their nuts, the flash of blue of the kingfisher, feed the ducks a morning crust, Mr pheasant strutting around, and early visits from pesky rabbits! We take pride in our abundance of wildlife….never a dull moment, in our natures paradise. The lakeside cabin is in the ideal location for walking/cycling in the Chilterns and we are close to the historic Ridgeway Path.
