About this location
The Cotswolds region
Foxes Barn is situated in a small village on the outskirts of Medieval Tewkesbury, which is well located to explore the Forest of Dean, The Wye Valley and Stratford upon Avon.
Cheltenham Spa is only a 10 minute car journey and therefore Foxes Barn could be a good base for Cheltenham Gold Cup
The M5 and M50 are easily accessible and therefore make exploring the surrounding area easy.
Tewkesbury is a beautiful medieval town with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs.
It is also unique in having 2 rivers that converge around it, The Severn and The Avon, so there are many riverside walks to explore.
The Cheltenham Gold Cup in March, The Food and Drink fesival in May and the Medieval Festival in July are all well worth a visit.
