The Cotswolds region
Tewkesbury is well located to explore the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean, and the Wye Valley or heading up the Avon to Stratford Upon Avon.
Cheltenham is a ten minute drive away, so it can be an good base for Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Crescent Cottage is only a 10 minute drive from the M5, so it's very easy to get around the whole of the Cotswold region.
Tewkesbury is a beautiful medieval town with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs.
It is also unique in having two rivers passing through it, the Severn and the Avon, so there are many riverside walks to explore.
Tewkesbury has a fantastic food festival at the beginning of May and the largest battle re-enactment weekend in July.

"lovely property in great location"
The house was really lovely and well furnished. There was a small courtyard where my young children could play outside and the owner who was nearby was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal in centre of Tewkesbury and a vert short walk from shops and cafés. Would definitely recommend.

"The cottage and the owner made this lone of the best Christmases we have spent in the UK"
Cottage was in ther centre of Tewkesbury and was warm, cosy, well-equipped and very comfortable. There was a parking space only 30 metres away and Alex, the owner, lived close by and was amazingly attentive.
The cottage made a super base for exploring the whole of the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean despite the rain and the floods.
We would not hesitate to recommend Crescent Cottage to friends and relatives.
