About the home

Luxury two bedroom apartment, fully air conditioned with a large outdoor terrace and patio furnishings.

It is located within the beautiful cypriot village of Tersefanou on the Golden Hills complex. The village centre is a 5 minute stroll away, an easy 20 minute drive from Larnaca front, 15 minutes drive to Makenzy Beach and 10 minutes drive to Larnaca airport.

The comfortable and well furnished home from home apartment consists of an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom with twin beds. Both have ample built in wardrobes and storgage space. The family bathroom has bath/shower with mirror and shelf. There is a TV and DVD with freeview including English channels (BBC news/movies). There is also a dining table and six chairs. The lounge consists of two leather sofas, one which doubles up as a pull out bed.

Granite worktop kitchen is equipped with all your home comforts including electric hob and oven with extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and washing machine. This allows you the choice to either dine at home, on the large veranda or eat out. We also provide a coolbag for use on those days out at the beach!

The lounge and master bedroom both lead out onto the large veranda where you can sit and watch the sunrise and admire the view or gaze out at the stars whilst having a BBQ.

The veranda has an outdoor table with 6 chairs and parasol as well as a BBQ for guests to use. We also have 4 sun loungers that also fit on the veranda when laid out.

There is a large selection of CDs, DVDs, books and a pack of cards for your use. Some of these are for children. There are also some inflatables and beach toys for the kiddies to use.

All linen and towels are provided.

This is overall a relaxing holiday with many local tavernas and restaurants in the village, Kiti, Pervolia and surrounding areas. Those wanting something a little livelier can find this on the Larnaca Promenade and Makenzy Beach area.

The Larnaca region

The local beaches in Pervolia are very family friendly and the nearest beach is called Faros Beach in Cape Kiti Pervolia. You need to drive through the village of Pervolia and head for the light house. The beaches of Larnaca and Mackenzie are just a 15 minute drive away, where you will find miles of sand with an array of water sports including paragliding, wind surfing, banana boats and diving courses.

Larnaca town centre has a wide variety of shops including many high street names as well as some beautiful local stores. There is a beautiful marina where you can enjoy a nice relaxing lunch in one of the many tavernas and if it's the nightlife you are after then with its many restaurants, bars and nightclubs Larnaca is the place to be. A taxi from the apartment should cost approx 15euro with a local firm in Pervolia (number provided in the apartment)

A bus service from Tersefanou goes to Larnaca town and runs approximately every two hours most weekday mornings and afternoons.

If you are on holiday with a young family then around the corner from the apartment is a new activity centre called Dreamlands which is a place where children can play both inside and outside. There is an outside pool for all to relax with an outside restaurant and pool bar. You only pay for the children which is approximately 5 Euro. The building looks like a castle with flags on the top so you can't miss it.

There is also a go karting track not too far away. We have included the link on things to do. Horse riding is available at the local stables on the Mazotos Road.

Nicosia the capital is just a 40 minute drive away, whilst Aiya Napa and Protaros with their stunning beaches and waterpark are just a 30 minute drive away. We recommend the waterpark in Limossol as it is the best in Europe.

If skiing is your thing, in the winter months you are approximately an hours drive from Mount Olympus where skiing on the mountain usually starts in January through until the end of March.

The Tersefanou area

Tersefanou is located on the outskirts of Larnaca and offers tranquility, sea and countryside views while also being a very short drive from just about anything you wish to do.

The village has a few shops supplying a good variety of food and many of the basics, one of the supermarkets has fresh fruit and vegetables and fresh meat delivered Mondays and Thursdays. There is a bank, coffee shops and two tavernas. One called ' Tersefanou Square ' where all are welcome by the owner Andreos. Around the corner there is a typical Cypriot Taverna with a lovely courtyard where you can get a lovely mezze. There is also a take away/restaurant which sells kebabs and pizzas. You can either eat in or take away!!

There is a 5 star PGA golf course in the pipeline.

Five minutes drive down the road are two other towns called Pervolia and Kiti where you will find a selection of restaurants offering typical Cypriot cuisine and European dishes. In Pervolia there is a bar called bar coast which is nice for a drink and a cocktail bar further out of Pervolia.There are also a number of other bars and tavernas. A full list of places is available at the apartment. Be sure to try Charlie's for an ice cream or cake and coffee

The Soutas taverna in Pervolia also comes highly recommended where on Saturday nights there is a Greek dancing/entertainment evening. Peter Andre is often seen here as his villa is about 5 minutes away! Booking for this is essential.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat on Kiti High Street. The Chinese restaurant there is delicious. There is a great supermarket half way up with all you would need. There is a pizza parlour where a large pizza is only 14 Euros these also deliver. There are two bakeries; one is called Master Chef, which bakes gorgeous breads and cakes. On this street you will also find many typical places to eat.

“A Great place to relax and unwind, a wonderful Cypriot experience” I have been to Cyprus several times and have stayed at these apartments on 2 occasions now in 2010 and 2011. The apartments themselves are furnished to a high standard and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. A car is essential as you are effectively living amongst the local population, however, there is everything you need in terms of amenities within the village itself and only a short drive to the nearby villages of Kiti and Pervolia which have some wonderful restaurants and a relaxed atmoshpere. All in all a perfect getaway for a peaceful holiday yet only a short drive into cosmopolitan Larnaca should you want more.

“Perfect base away from the hustle and bustle .” We stayed here with our two children , the Apartment was both well equipped with everything you could need and spotlessly clean , the pool was perfect for the kids who enjoyed the fact they could swim as often as they liked. we hired a car to explore the beautiful surrounding villages and only a short drive into the busy resort of larnaca. As a family who like to do their own thing the location was great for both exploring and quiet enough to relax in the evenings , Will definatley consider another stay .

“Lovely, clean, well equiped apartment. Great location.” We stayed in this apartment for one week in June. It was our first family holiday with our 8 month old son. It was perfect, lovely and relaxing. The apartment was clean well equipped and even had baby high chair and travel cot which made things a lot easier for us. It had a lovely pool area which is child friendly. Great location as only a 10 minute drive to larnaca. But were also able to walk to local shops/restaurants.
