This charming house provides spacious comfortable living all year round. You have private use of all the facilities for a relaxing holiday.
Open tread oak staircase leads to 4 bedrooms. Modern bathroom and en suite shower room upstairs.
New kitchen with stainless steel sink, ceramic electric hob, fridge, freezer, electric oven and separate microwave oven in the kitchen with washing machine in the basement.
English adaptor plugs provided for your own appliances.

The large courtyard provides parking space and a terrace for sitting/games area with views over the pool and countryside. There is a large mobile BBQ, patio table and chairs. Various garden chairs in the grounds. The sloping garden has a variety of wild flowers depending on the season, trees and shrubs and is open to the fields and woodland beyond. Excellent for birdwatching. There are 2 bicycles for use at own risk. Cycles may be hired at the Nautical Centre of the Lac du Causse, Lissac, 10 minutes drive away.
There are stone walls in the grounds and you are politely requested not to climb on these under any circumstances.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
Hot and sunny from early June, to September, temperatures can reach 40C. Due to the elevated position, a welcome breeze during the day. Throughout the year the garden is carpeted with a succession of wild flowers starting with Violets, then cowslips followed by orchids. April, May, June and September are ideal for sightseeing.
Les Eyzies with its world famous prehistoric museum, the caves of Lascaux and the numerous sites in the Vezere valley are about 40 minutes drive. Rocamadour and Domme are easy day trips.
The Terrasson / Chavagnac area
Sarlat and the medieval towns of Turenne, Collognes la Rouge, Martel important during the times of Richard the Lion Heart and the Hundred Years War are about 40 minutes drive.
The ancient market town of Terrasson with the old town high above the River Vezere is well worth a visit. Many
Templar sites locally.
An information pack will guide you to relevant sites depending on your interests all periods from prehistoric to 1944. You will not be bored!

The local farm paths from the house provide gorgeous easy shaded walks through beautiful unspoilt and remote countryside of the Correze. Maps and suggested routes are provided.

Castelnaud and Beynac, Domme and Rocamadour make a good day out.
Local restaurants with excellent Perigordian dishes. Duck, walnuts and the celebrated Black Truffle and Wines from Bergerac and Cahors.
