"Very disappointing"

We were awfully disappointed! The owner didn't even showed us in when we called her to show us how to use the key code. The only good points are the location near the High Street, the groceries lef… More

I did reply to your comments in my guest book via txt. I did show you in after you called me saying you could not get the key safe to work,I think your husband was rather embarrassed that he was pushing the door to open rather than opening the safe.I use this method other wise I would waste my time waiting for guests to arrive and have not had problems before. I told you about the T.V & WiFi etc.The cottage is typical of its era re.stairs etc.which are well lit.You would have known the loo was downstairs. Yes the sink does have a very small crack but it is still usable and we think very attractive. As for the garden it was unfortunate that my gardener let me down to cut the grass before your arrival I apologise for that.I'm not sure what you need to open your suitcase ?? I have many positive comments in my guest book over the last 4 years, unfortunately these people seldom deem to write an online review. We offer a clean comfortable cottage at reasonable cost, what more can I say!

"in need of TLC"

The accommodation was ok but could do with a little TLC (tender loving care) the 'Welcome pack' was just one carton of milk. Sadly the tiny garden was neglected and overgrown and therefor… More

As I responded to you at the time, the milk/tea coffee is complimentary. We also provide free WiFi.The grass in the garden may be a little dry but the garden is certainly not unusable! You commented a lack of towels- 1 bath & 1 hand was provided for each guest, this is a self catering cottage not an hotel.I think we provide a good value for money venue.Sorry you were disappointed.

"Enchanting Cottage in Jewel of a Town Equals Great Holiday"

Easy to book with helpful owner. Cottage is charming with most things required for a great holiday. Everything was clean and comfortable with everything expected of a 160 year old cottage. It was good to have the welcome pack with all essentials for refreshment and breakfast. Cottage is within easy walking distance of several good Pubs and restaurants.
Tenterden is a pleasant town with interesting shops and facilities. There are many interesting towns and things to do within a reasonable driving distance.
One slight problem with cottage is that as it is so close to the town that it can be a problem to get a parking space outside during the day but no problem after 5pm.

Thank you for your review. So glad you had such a good time.

"Lovely cottage in ideal position"

We had a great week in Tenterden, helped by marvellous weather. The cottage was ideally situated a short walk from shops, take aways, restaurants etc. It was warm and cosy and gave us a lovely base to explore the area.

Thank you for your review,so glad you had such a good time.
