All in all a lovely place to visit!
Tenby is known in Welsh as Dinbych-y-pysgod, meaning little town of the fishes. It was established by the Normans as a fortified town and still has most of its 13th century medieval town walls. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales' only coastal national park.
I fell in love with Tenby as a child and it hasn't changed very much since then. It is a very pretty seaside town with four sandy beaches and lots of character. The town has many attractions including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse; the 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); 1905 Tenby Lifeboat House, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. It also has lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. There are boats running every day from Tenby's harbour to Caldey Island, where there is a working monastery.
Just outside Tenby there are lots of attractions to visit, including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, Oakwood Adventure and Leisure Park and the Dinosaur Park. For nightlife there is the Sands Nightclub just down the road in Saundersfoot, and the Queen's Hall in Narberth for live music and comedy.
Tenby has its own train station so you could easily visit without a car and spend your time just enjoying the narrow cobbled streets, georgian architecture and blue-flagged beaches. Not to mention the award-winning fish and chips! It really is a fabulous seaside town and one that many come back to again and again.

"Beautiful house, great location and very friendly owner. Perfect hen party!"
We booked the Bell Tree House, along with the adjoining property for my hen weekend in Tenby. Although hen parties are usually not allowed, the owner was very accommodating as we are a well behaved group :)
The house really made our weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful, and the large communal living room/ kitchen was fantastic for our group. There are also little living rooms dotted around the house if you need some peace! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owners even left essential food and a couple of bottles of wine for us, which we really weren't expecting!
Location is within walking distance to the town and price was very good between a large group.
I'd highly recommend the house for a party or just for somewhere nice to stay - absolutely perfect!
Thank you for your kind comments. We are so glad that you had a good time and thank you for leaving the house in such immaculate condition! We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Wishing you all the best for the Big Day! - Katy

"Fabulous house perfect for group of family or friends"
Visited Tenby for a sailing event with 2 other families. Bell Tree house was perfect, great location close to sea front and very spacious accommodation for our party of 6 adults and 6 children. Lovely little touches such as fresh flowers and wine on the table and milk in the fridge. Will definitely book again when visiting Tenby.
Many thanks for your kind comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. Best wishes - Katy

"SPACIOUS HOUSE IN CENTRE OF TENBY - IN NEED OF TLC"

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We always go the extra mile for Christmas guests, including putting up decorations, and extra touches in the Welcome Pack, and so it is very disappointing that your fanily did not have a wonderful time. However, we received no messages at all and we do provide several contact numbers in the welcome pack, and on the booking confirmation, including my own. Additionally we had a number of email exchanges before and after your holiday. These issues were never mentioned to me at any point, except in this review, thus giving us no opportunity to address them. We would certainly have wanted to put them right. We experienced very severe weather conditions across the whole country (gales and horizontal rain) during your stay which resulted in water entering the vent to the downstairs cloakroom (which has never happened before). This was alerted to us immediately by the guests who followed you and was fixed the same day. It was not coming from the shower above which does not have a cracked floor at all, but through the vent. Such weather conditions are unfortunately beyond our control but we would certainly have adjusted the heating for you and addressed any other issues if we had been contacted. Guests usually say it is very warm and cosy. Again, the electric fire in the living room does work, so it is a shame we didn't know you were experiencing problems operating it. You did mention before arrival that you had concerns about noise and so we actually went to extra lengths to ensure that your stay would be completely peaceful. We also arranged with you in advance to provide a Christmas Tree stand for your tree. We are very responsive to our guests' needs and requests and always urge guests to let us know of any issues straight away. We have taken on board the suggestion to make a follow-up call to guests a couple of days following arrival and will certainly do this from now on. Thank you. - Katy
