The Pembrokeshire region

Pembrokeshire is home to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal national park of its kind in the United Kingdom. Pembrokeshire's beaches have been awarded 41 Blue Flag Awards, 47 Green Coast Awards and 106 Seaside Awards.

Pembrokeshire is Wales' most popular coastal destination and regularly wins tourism awards. In 2011, Pembrokeshire was runner-up for the prestigious Sunday Times Travel Magazine Readers' Award.

A recent survey showed that Pembrokeshire is popular because of its beautiful landscape and peaceful nature. 63% of visitors said that the overall experience of visiting Pembrokeshire was better than other UK destinations.

All in all a lovely place to visit!

Tenby is known in Welsh as Dinbych-y-pysgod, meaning little town of the fishes. It was established by the Normans as a fortified town and still has most of its 13th century medieval town walls. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales' only coastal national park.

I fell in love with Tenby as a child and it hasn't changed very much since then. It is a very pretty seaside town with four sandy beaches and lots of character. The town has many attractions including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse; the 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); 1905 Tenby Lifeboat House, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. It also has lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. There are boats running every day from Tenby's harbour to Caldey Island, where there is a working monastery.

Just outside Tenby there are lots of attractions to visit, including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, Oakwood Adventure and Leisure Park and the Dinosaur Park. For nightlife there is the Sands Nightclub just down the road in Saundersfoot, and the Queen's Hall in Narberth for live music and comedy.

Tenby has its own train station so you could easily visit without a car and spend your time just enjoying the narrow cobbled streets, georgian architecture and blue-flagged beaches. Not to mention the award-winning fish and chips! It really is a fabulous seaside town and one that many come back to again and again.

"Space and Style"

Bell Tree House is spacious and light and very convenient for Tenby beaches. We had a great week ... loved the piano, the kitchen is superb, plenty of space for everyone to relax. Handy to have parking for 3 cars so near to town too. Classy ... Thanks for the holiday.

Great to have you to stay again, you are fabulous guests. Thank you for your constructive feedback. We hope to see you all again next year. Best wishes, Katy

"Beautiful house, great location and very friendly owner. Perfect hen party!"

We booked the Bell Tree House, along with the adjoining property for my hen weekend in Tenby. Although hen parties are usually not allowed, the owner was very accommodating as we are a well behaved group :) The house really made our weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful, and the large communal living room/ kitchen was fantastic for our group. There are also little living rooms dotted around the house if you need some peace! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owners even left essential food and a couple of bottles of wine for us, which we really weren't expecting! Location is within walking distance to the town and price was very good between a large group. I'd highly recommend the house for a party or just for somewhere nice to stay - absolutely perfect!

Thank you for your kind comments. We are so glad that you had a good time and thank you for leaving the house in such immaculate condition! We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Wishing you all the best for the Big Day! - Katy

"Fabulous house perfect for group of family or friends"

Visited Tenby for a sailing event with 2 other families. Bell Tree house was perfect, great location close to sea front and very spacious accommodation for our party of 6 adults and 6 children. Lovely little touches such as fresh flowers and wine on the table and milk in the fridge. Will definitely book again when visiting Tenby.

Many thanks for your kind comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. Best wishes - Katy
