Located in the heart of Tenby, on the first floor of a 19th Century house, this newly converted apartment is refurbished to the highest standards, offering a spacious, stylish and sophisticated living environment. The property offers panoramic views of Pembrokeshire's beautiful coast line and is literally a stone's throw away from Tenby's award winning North Beach and famous picture postcard harbour.

Its situation in the middle of the town centre, means that the cafes, restaurants, bars and shops are all on your doorstep. During the summer months, Tenby centre becomes traffic-free during the day, but as this property has a private drive (off-street parking), access to and from the apartment is permitted at all times.

Tenby itself offers great beaches, stunning countryside, Wale's oldest golf course, fishing, surfing and plenty of heritage.

A particularly spacious first floor apartment which comfortably accommodates 4 people. Bedroom one comprises a king size bed, wall mounted TV, large built-in wardrobe and on-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Bedroom two has a large oak 'Habitat' bunk bed with full-size single beds. The family sized bathroom offers a bath with integral shower.

The open plan living room is furnished to the highest standard with Le Corbusier leather chairs and Maskrey's sofa, 40inch TV, playstation 2/DVD, ipod docking station and free wifi.

Why eat out when you can sit at a large dining table and admire the sea views, or sit up at the breakfast bar.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, Dualit toaster and dishwasher.

A key feature of the apartment is the family sized window seat where you can sit and watch people bustling in and out of cafes, watch friends on the beach or simply admire the incredible landscape of the Pembrokeshire coastline, including a corner of Tenby harbour.

A washing machine and iron are also available, but for those wishing to dry towels quickly, a laundrette is located a stones throw away from the apartment.

The private drive can accommodate three cars, but is shared with two other apartments (on the 2nd and 3rd floor). It is therefore only possible to offer 1 parking space.

The entrance is accessed off Upper Frog Street via wooden gates to the parking court. The apartment itself is location on the 1st floor above WHSmith, overlooking the High Street and North Beach, and is accessed via a ground floor lobby off the parking court.

The West Wales/Pembrokeshire region

The county is home to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal national park of its kind in the United Kingdom and one of three national parks in Wales, the others being Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons national parks. Over the years Pembrokeshire's beaches have been awarded 41 Blue Flag Awards (13 in 2011), 47 Green Coast Awards (15 in 2011) and 106 Seaside Awards (31 in 2011). In 2011 it also had 39 beaches recommended by the Marine Conservation Society.

Much of Pembrokeshire, especially the south, has been English in language and culture for many centuries. The boundary between the English and Welsh speakers is known as the Landsker Line. South Pembrokeshire is known as Little England Beyond Wales.

Tenby

Tenby (Welsh: Dinbych-y-Pysgod, meaning little town of the fishes or little fortress of the fish) is a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales, on the west side of Carmarthen Bay.

Notable features of Tenby include 2.5 miles (4.0 km) of sandy beaches; the 13th century medieval town walls, including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse ; 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); a museum with art gallery; and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, part of Wales' only coastal National Park. Boats sail from Tenby's harbour to the offshore monastic Caldey Island, while St Catherine's Island is linked to the town at low tide. The town is served by Tenby railway station.

The A478 road accesses the town, connecting to the M4 Motorway via the A48 some 40 miles (64 km) away.

Tenby railway station is maintained and served by Arriva Trains Wales, with regular hourly services to Swansea and onwards to London Paddington via First Great Western. During peak season, trains run direct from Paddington to Tenby. The nearest airport is Cardiff International, with hourly service to Amsterdam Schiphol, reached via either road or rail.

"Lovely apartment, in an ideal location"

Whilst the weather in Tenby can't be guaranteed and was a disappointment, the accommodation was excellent and sufficiently roomy for a family to spend time inside without feeling cramped. The window seat has a lovely view out over the north beach and is a perfect place to sit whatever the weather. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and we didn't find anything missing. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. it's located centrally with but a 5 min walk to the harbour and even less to most of the shops. Plenty of good places to eat also within 2 mins walk. Car parking is on a shared drive but proved no problem with the other users. Access is via a flight of stairs so not good for those with limited mobility, otherwise highly recommended.

"Perfect Tenby apartment"

Amazing apartment in Tenby. Fantastic location overlooking the beach, seconds from restaurants and shops. Apartment spotless, log burner, modern decor, bunkbeds for the children. Even an ensuite in main bedroom. Cannot fault it, you have to book this for your Tenby holiday!!

"lovely and relaxing stay"

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at No 1 North Beach House. The apartment was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. The views from the window seat were stunning and it was the perfect spot to relax with a good book and watch the day go by. The off street parking was also really useful, so all in all it was a great base for our holiday.

"Fantastic view!"

We only stayed for one night but the flat is so relaxing and cosy we wanted to stay for longer! Great location right near all the shops to get food and right opposite the North Beach and a couple of minutes walk from the others. We got a takeaway from Barbucci's Indian restaurant which was fantastic, and the next day was spent mostly sitting in the window seat and taking in the brilliant views. Would highly recommend to anyone!
