Sheinken Street is THE street in Tel Aviv, close to the Carmel Market and Rotshchild Boulevard, 10-12 min. walking to the sea. The heart of the historic areas, and today a highly sought after area to live in. Boutiques owned by up-and -coming designers, cafes, small galleries and restaurants line the pavements of Sheinken Street. Walk almost anywhere in Tel Aviv from this area, and there are good bus routes from Allenby street. Local neighbourhood kiosks and supermearkets stock all supplies, and there are English service ATM's along Sheinken Street.

Tel Aviv City

Live in the very heart of Tel Aviv, a young and exciting city that never stops, and at the same time serene and indulgent. Like all the central cities in the world, Tel Aviv is being renewed while maintaining its unique character, after being declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage site because of the number of Bauhaus style building that give it a special character.

Tel Aviv is the centre of the country's culture, art and entertainment –appetizing restaurants, modern cafes, boisterous bars, beautiful boulevards and lively sea shores. All this in walking distance of the apartment building.

"Good value for your money."

Myself and my wife stayed here 18th April - 22nd April. We are from England.
We chose this apartment because it was a bit cheaper than the hotels, and allowed us more freedom.

Negatives:
The entrance to the apartment block, and the building itself is very run down and desperately needs maintenance and cleaning (as does the whole area). Graffiti and feral cats are everywhere.

Positives:
The actual room is quite clean, and larger than it appears in the photos.
The location is excellent. Plenty of Shops. The local market is huge, but sells mainly fresh fruit and veg.
Buses, taxi's, mini buses are all nearby, which will take you to the rail station.
Old Jaffa is about 45 minutes walk, it's a nice old world place. There's a restaurant there called "The old man and the sea" well worth having a meal there, be careful when you sit down, as they pile plates of food onto your table "before" you've even asked, and they call this a starter..it's a huge amount, you won't be able to eat a main meal, so it's wise not to order one!
Jerusalem and Haifa are easy to get to by train.
We didn't experience any problem's anywhere.

"Great value for money in top location"

I've stayed in Tel Aviv many times before, mostly in overpriced hotels, that did not offer the space and cleanliness of the studio in Feierberg Street. The location is absolutely fabulous, a quiet spot in the the old Bauhaus area, just off Sheinkin (Tel Aviv's most fashionable street), around the corner from Rothshild, 10 minutes from the Carmel Market and right in between the beach, Dizengoff and the cultural complex (theatres, museum). Perfect to explore the city and easy to walk around everywhere. The kitchenette in the cupboard is very basic, good to prepare breakfast, but not really for cooking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The owners provided milk and hot drinks and mineral water. What really made my stay was having breakfast on the sunny terrace, with the cats of the neighbours peering through the plants of the terrace next door. I absolutely loved it and I will definitively come again.
