About Lanzarote
Lanzarote is formed by more then 100 volcanos that form a fascinating landscape which is unique in the world. Lanzarote is placed 750kms south of Gibraltar and it is the most easterly of the Canaries.
It enjoys more sunshine and lower rainfall than any of the other islands and has one of the most pleasant climates in the northern hemisphere. The climate is due in part to the influence of the gulf-stream and favourable trade winds.
The Teguise / Oasis de Nazaret area
Oasis de Nazaret is perfectly situated between the old capital, Teguise, and the beaches of Costa Teguise. Flanked by rugged cliffs, these beaches are a paradise for surfers, sunbathers and walkers alike. The villa location also makes for an ideal base for cyclists, as the best roads are in the north or the island.
One of the island’s most famous attractions is the haute-cuisine restaurant, LagOmar. Designed by Caesar Manrique as part of a residence for Omar Sharif (hence the name), its setting is jaw-droppingly dramatic. But if you’re after more modest fare, the local social club offers reasonably-priced food as well as a takeaway service and live entertainment.

We had a potential catastrophe when my mother discovered she'd lost her passport on the day of departure but Mark's total devotion to the welfare of residents saved the day. The way Mark swung into action: driving to Soo to check the car; telephoning a contact at the airport; taking us to the Guardia Civil; taking Mum to the photographers and all of us to the Consulate and then to the airport (skilfully) at high speed saved the day for us. Mark was not prepared to leave it at that, he parked the car and came back to check we were able to board (by the skin of our teeth) and he clearly cared about what he was doing for friends as well as residents. What Mark did was incredible, the time he devoted and the effort and his obvious caring about what he was doing. We really felt rescued, looked after and protected. My mother is 85 years of age and things could have been so much worse for us. Here we are back home and Mark is already a legend. We thanked Mark but please pass on to Peter all our thanks and appreciation for what Mark did; it was truly impressive. We look forward to seeing him again in February and we will never forget what he did, the trouble he went to so unselfishly putting all other considerations aside. Thank you so much. David P.S. We have a number of Special offers for late bookings but encourage you to book early with out free holiday pack for all bookings taken 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A deposit is required which is done by bank transfer and the outstanding amount can be paid either 3 weeks before your arrival date or to your house manager upon your arrival.
We can supply; cots, high chairs, baby buggy's etc., for a small charge.
All bed linen is provided.
