Home description
A completely renovated 19th century farmhouse. It is surrounded by good quality land which provides for a quiet serene atmosphere. The building is split into 4 homes, which have separate entrances. You can also enjoy an unheated outdoor pool.
The farmhouse is located at the foot of a hill, at the top of which lie the Moorish remains of the so called “Castillo de la Estrella”. It is surrounded by good quality agricultural land, which provides for a quiet serene atmosphere... The building is completely renovated with air conditioning, heating, and bathroom.
There is an an unheated outdoor pool. The village is just one km from Teba, a small country town.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The farmhouse is located in the quiet Andalusian countryside. The road communications are very good: 40 minutes drive to Costa del Sol (Málaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Puerto Banús).
One day trips: You can enjoy the most famous Andalusia landmarks: la Alhambra (Granada), la Giralda (Seville), and the Mosque (Cordova). Granada, which is the farthest of these cities, is just one and a half hours drive from El Puntal. But the greatest tourist attractions is, without a doubt, the sunshine and the beaches. You only have to drive for an hour to reach our beaches. Don´t feel surprised if the person who is sunbathing next to you speaks your language.

Teba area
Antequera and Ronda are worth a visit. Over 70% of Málaga cultural heritage is concentrated in these two towns. Near Antequera is a Natural Park called “El Torcal”.
If you visit the area try to see it. Limestone rock formations and stunning views feature here. Other natural areas of interest are the following: Teba mountains, the Lagoon of Fuente de Piedra, which provides an ideal breeding spot for what surely must be one of the most elegant and exquisite birds in the world, the pink flamingo, and Chorro reservoir, where you can practise different water sports or simply go trekking or cycling. Other outdoor activities you can do in the area are, for instance, paragliding, mountain climbing, and swimming.
In May you can have a good time at any of the “romerías” held in most of the towns of the shire. A “romería” is a religious festival where you can experience “sevillanas” (flamenco dance), and enjoy both typical Spanish food and beverages. In summer every town holds its festival. Mix with the locals. We are friendly.
