Beautiful large holiday home with pool.

This Canary style holiday home is in a wonderful climate area on the Westside of La Palma. It has a lot of charisma and flair. The house has several roof heights. Some parts have typical Canary wooden ceilings, sky lights and the decoration is tasteful and relaxing. The sky light in the centre of the house makes the space bright and airy. The living room has extremely comfortable couches, and there is a spacious dining area and a very well-equipped open kitchen. This large holiday home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with underfloor heating. It provides everything you need to fully enjoy your holiday on La Palma with your friends or family. All windows have insect screens and the entire holiday home is childproof. Top quality and child friendly. Beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains.

There is a large lawn in front of the terrace of the house and a children's playground with a trampoline (3.60 m.), a sandbox and other play equipment, which makes this holiday home very child friendly. There is also a swimming pool (5X10) with a shower and toilets for the 2 houses, Soluna and Soraya). A nice, small area on the Westside of La Palma, 250 meters above sea level. This holiday home is in a warm climate zone all year round. There are several restaurants and a bus stop at walking distance. The beaches of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte are quickly reached by car. There are shops and a pharmacy in the nearby village Todoque.

The Canary Islands region

La Palma is one of the most beautiful islands of the Canary Islands.

Known as “Isla Bonita” (pretty island), or “Isla Verde” (green island), La Palma carries its own charm and character and being largely unspoilt and undeveloped, it offers a more natural, peaceful and relaxed environment than some of the other well-known Canary Islands. If you've been to Madeira, you may find some areas similar and the upper volcanic regions compare to Mount Teide in Tenerife.

The south and especially the west part of La Palma are sunny and dry. These parts have a subtropical climate, which means the temperature is usually between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, the whole year round (below a certain altitude of course). La Palma is truly the island of eternal spring.

A large part of La Palma consists of volcanic rock formations – it is, in fact, the top of a volcano. A mountain range, called the “Cumbra Vieja”, runs through the middle of the island. It consists of (quite fertile) volcanic stone. The highest part of this mountain range is just below 2,500 meters high, and it causes A great climatic contrasts; this results in great varieties in vegetation and nature. The foot of the island La Palma is about 3,500 meters below sea level. The last instant of volcanic activity was in 1971, in the southern part of La Palma.

Tazacorte

This is a quiet area between Todoque and Puerto Naos 0-300 m above sea level), but there is also a good connection to Puerto de Tazacorte. There are 2 restaurants at walking distance in the area Las Norias. There is also a bus stop, with buses going in the direction of Los Llanos and Puerto Naos.

Los Llanos is at a height of 320 meters and has about 20,000 inhabitants. It is the second city of La Palma, and it is the commercial and cultural centre of the rich valley of Aridane. Lol Llanos is an ever growing, modern city, and is secretly called the nation's capital. There are beaches and bays heading west along the coast line, like Puerto Naos and Charco Verde. Los Llanos is a definite must for tourist, especially if you are planning on going shopping. The centre is called the “Plaza de Espana”. It is the place to sit under gigantic laurel trees and have a “café con leche'” or a “bocadillo”, or to just sit back and take in the environment.

One of the most idyllic places of Los Llanos is called the “Plaza Chica”, located right behind the Plaza de Espana. The “Mercado” is at a few minutes walking distance, a glass-roofed market with the best offer of fresh produce on La Palma , although it shares first place with the market in Santa Cruz. On the Mercado, you will find seasonal tropical fruits, like papaya, guava, maracujas, nisperos, pineapple and mango. All these fruits grow naturally on La Palma.

What does Los Llanos offer you? Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, health food shops, a postal office, the market place, banks, pharmacies, a cultural palace, a cinema, a first aid post, a bus station and a medical centre.
