This very comfortable upstairs apartment is in one of the most stunning areas to visit in the West of Scotland, if not in the whole of Scotland. Choosing Taynuilt (12 miles east of Oban) as your base will be one of the best decisions you make for your Scottish holiday of a lifetime.

Your spacious upstairs apartment has a lovely cottage feel with coombe ceilings, its own entrance, garden, patio and parking area. It is situated on a slightly elevated position 70m from the shores of Loch Etive, the fabulous views from all windows and the garden are just quite simply stunning. The six foot bed in the double room can be split into 2 singles if required.

Make this your base in the West of Scotland in one of our four quiet self catering properties on the shores of Loch Etive, near Oban, Argyll. You have the choice of a cottage style apartment or three mobile homes for your holiday let. Our accommodation is pet friendly, with enclosed gardens, dogs must not be left unattended in the property at any time. There is a seemingly endless list of things for you and your family to do in the area.

This whole area is of outstanding natural beauty. The wildlife is probably second to none, eagles, ospreys, otters, basking sharks and deer to name but a few. This young Roe Deer was found 4 metres from one of our holiday lets.

Not only that, your ways of accessing the wildlife and landscape are endless. Oban or as it's known "The Gateway to the Isles" is just 12 miles away, where you can catch a ferry to numerous locations.

Hire kayaks or small boats to explore the coastline yourselves or go one of the many varied boat trips to see seals and puffins. Go walking in the hills, bag a Munro! If you want to do a more adventurous route or are just starting out, a qualified summer mountain guide (my husband!) can be arranged for you. Or if you fancy doing something different from normal go diving, horse riding, climbing, archery, wind surfing, cycling, gliding, golfing or sailing. Almost every outdoor activity can be done in this area. Or just have a relaxing stroll round one of the many gardens open to the public.

The area has many fine restaurants, tea rooms and pubs to enjoy our local produce in. Oban is rightly named the "Seafood Capital of Scotland".

This quiet apartment is ideal for all ages. It is an easy walk to the village which has a pub, tea room, Post Office, hairdresser, butcher and grocer (which has a fantastic stock). There is really no need to leave the village if you are needing a peaceful relaxing holiday.

The village has bus and train links into Oban or elsewhere. Golf Course, Tennis Court, boat hire, boat trips, fishing, archery and sports field in the village.

There is no smoking in any of my properties.

Taynuilt

Our holiday lets; cottage style apartment and mobile homes give you an excellent base to explore the whole of the West Coast of Scotland. From Taynuilt you can catch a bus or train into Oban or back towards Glasgow. Any trip by road, rail, water or air will offer you unbelievably spectacular views.

Our properties are approximately a mile away from the centre of Taynuilt. Which is an easy walk or cycle away or a quick drive in the car.

Taynuilt itself offers you an excellently stocked village store, with a variety of top quality produce. There is also a Post Office, a butcher, tea room, hotel and hairdresser. There is really no reason to travel to Oban as just about everything you need can be bought in the village. The nearest Petrol Station is just 2 miles away.

In the village there is also a tennis court to hire, large football pitch, golf course and childrens play park all within a mile.

I (we) found the property well "laid out" very adequate , tidy, neat, lovely views,..most modern, and both bedrooms were of a high standard ..with lots of cupboard space etc...will probably… More
