No. 2 Barsand House is a high quality apartment in a Grade II listed building in the heart of the historic market town of Tavistock. It had been decorated and furnished to ensure maximum comfort whilst enjoying your holiday.

Tavistock is a lively market town with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars all of which are within easy walking distance of this apartment. The town has plenty going on all year round including a pannier market where the theme changes each Saturday, farmers markets (voted best in the West), and the famous Tavistock Goosey fair which is always held on the 2nd Wednesday of October and the fun fair remains in the town for the whole week.

Located on the south west side of Dartmoor National park there are plenty of walks, hills and tors to explore close by. Plymouth and its many attractions is a 20 minute drive away and offers, history, shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Tavistock area

Tavistock is located in the South West edge of Dartmoor National park and is surrounded by the natural beauty of rolling hills and rugged Tors.

Tavistock also holds many music events at The Wharf Arts and Entertainment Centre as well as theatre and cinema shows, art gallery, piano bar and waterside bar and coffee shop.

Nearby attractions include; Cotehele National Trust medieval house and gardens with superb collections of textiles, armour and furniture, set in extensive grounds with miles of riverside and woodland walks. St Mellion; one of Europe’s finest venues for golf and leisure; and Buckland Abbey, set in the beautiful Tavy valley and the home of Sir Frances Drake.

Plymouth and its vibrant living is just a 20 minute drive away and offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants, attractions and entertainment.
