Set within the exclusive small development Alto do Perogil, we enjoy a peaceful setting in beautiful gardens with a large communal pool. The property consists of hall, lounge with fireplace, dining area, and fully equipment kitchen, which includes built in oven, granite work surfaces, fridge freezer and even a cocktail maker! Air-conditioned throughout, all three double bedrooms have ample wardrobe and storage space. Consisting of one twin bedded room, one double bedded room and one king size bedded room. Three bathrooms provide the choice of three showers and one bath.
The furniture and furnishings are of the highest quality shipped from England to ensure a very comfortable stay. Italian leather sofas, mahogany tables, wonderful divan beds all combine to deliver a fabulous holiday experience. Satellite TV, DVD player, Music centre, books and films together with an information pack on the area all in place so you may relax and enjoy your spacious accommodation.
Outside space consists of a large wrap around terrace with breathtaking views over the mountains and beautiful sunsets. Table and chairs, sun loungers. Our brick built Portuguese BBQ means you can really enjoy eating outside and preparing simple meals from the delicious produce available from the local markets. We’ve even provided an outside fridge to make sure your drinks remain chilled!
Tavira is often called the prettiest town in the Algarve and we are located within walking distance so you can experience the charm of this typically Portuguese town and enjoy the wide variety of excellent and reasonably priced restaurants & bars. Or visit the marvellous fresh daily market for vegetables, fruit and fish and don’t forget to go to the regional flea markets for bargains. Guided tours in the historic town are available, perhaps on a horse drawn carriage or you may prefer the fabulous tourist train, visit the museums or one of the 35 churches, antique Roman and Moorish places all offer places of great interest. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the true charm of the Algarve.
The nearest beach is only a couple of miles away and easily accessible providing gorgeous stretches of unspoilt beaches with a selection of bars and restaurants or you may want to take a picnic!
You have a choice of four local golf courses with excellent reputations and good value green fees! We would highly recommend a visit to Zoo marine only a short drive away and here you can swim with Dolphins – truly a magical experience. Or you could try the most entertaining Jeep Safari or spend an exhausting day at our local water park!
You are 15 km to charming fishermen's towns like Olhão and Fuzeta, nature reserve Ria Formosa 8 km, unspoilt villages like Santa Luzia, Cabanas, Cacela Velha 6 km and only 25 Km to the Spanish border so you can always go to Spain for lunch!!

The property consists of hall, comfortable L shaped lounge with open fireplace, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.Three very good sized double bedrooms on three floors offer more than ample luggage storage and wardrobe space. Each bedroom enjoys its own bathroom, one being en-suite and all bathrooms have full shower facilities and WC, with one bathroom having a full sized bath.

The pool and gardens can be accessed by the main entrance From the impressive 1st floor wrap-around terrace, the whole family can sun-bathe on the 6 sun-lounges, observe the wonderful swimming pool and landscaped gardens or appreciate the truly magnificent panoramic views (see above) of both open countryside and mountains to the rear or look down on Tavira and the sea to the front. For entertainment, colour TV with UK satellite channels (inc BBC & ITV), DVD and CD players and many books, Music and Game CDs and assorted games to while away the time when not outdoors

The Algarve / East Algarve region
The area east of Faro contrasts sharply with most of the Algarve. Here development has spread more slowly. The coastline, almost to the Spanish border, is largely lined by stretches of tidal marshlands which are an integral part of the Rio Formosa National Park, a conservation area of raw beauty and great ecological importance. These marshlands are protected by long and magnificent sand flats (ilhas).
The Eastern Algarve is very different compared to the rugged beauty found west of Faro. Those tidal marshlands have a tranquil beauty and the small resorts along the coast have retained much of their character, looking today as they must have looked long ago. Here tourism blends in perfectly with local activities creating a relaxed way of life. There is a tinge of excitement, even romance, about those ferry or tiny boat trips to the ilhas, trips rewarded by superb, less crowded bathing beaches and warm waters. The houses are different too, in the main more modest and discreet although more opulent properties are appearing on the skyline. There are more characterful cottages, farmhouses and the local architecture is quite distinct.
The Tavira / Alto do Perogil area
Historic Tavira is within walking distance of the property, Tavira is often called the prettiest town in the Algarve.
Tavira has many shops, bars and restaurants, a marvellous fresh daily market for vegetables, fruit and fish, regional and flee markets. Guided tours in the historic town, tourist train, museums and over 35 churches
