The Townhouse is located just a few minutes walking distance to Bars and Restaurants and 8 minutes walk to the beautiful centre of Tavira. The views are superb overlooking the pool area, garden and mountains on one side and on the other side a tremendous view of the city of Tavira from the private roof garden terrace.
The spacious townhouse covers a total area of 242 sq. meters and is furnished to a high standard. The living area and kitchen has marble floors and the bedroom area has wooden floors. The bathrooms are finished to a high standard with electric heated rails and a jacuzzi bath. The roof terrace has a stunning sea view on one side of it private terrace and a dining area on the other side. It also has synthetic grass and an electric awing with wind sensors that close automatically if the wind gets strong. The rooftop dining area has a Gas BBQ and Patio Table with 6 chairs, ideal for having a meal and a glass of wine while overlooking the panoramic view of the Tavira City and Sea.
There are three Golf courses just 5 minutes away, Quinta de Ria, Benamor and Quinta de Cima.

The Town house has 3 floors and a privite roof terrace, It also has a garage with an electric up and over door for secure parking, there is access from the private garage to the living room area of the town house.
All the windows are fitted with electric shutters and there are sunshade awnings fitted on the outside of all the windows.
The property is furnished to a high standard and also has Sky TV and a 40" LCD HD TV complete with a DVD player.

Booking Deposit: 25% of rental fee due eight weeks before your stay to secure booking.

Refundable breakages deposit of £150 required on arrival, to be refunded on the day of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The Roman Bridge
Roman origin. Was part of the Roman road linking Faro and Mértola. Reconstructed in the 17th century.
Church of São Paulo
Of 17th century origin. Renaissance style Galilee and portal. Bas relief of the Baptism of Jesus. Retable of the main altar. 15th and 16th century paintings on wood in the church and sacristy. Interesting decorative tiles in the floor of the transept.
Church of Carmo
18th century church. Remarkable gilded, carved woodwork covering the interior. Cupola with clerestory. Rich row of chairs for the choir (late 18th century).
Beaches
Ilha da Tavira - There are regular ferry crossings to this island, which lies opposite the city and has long beaches and surt facilities.
Cabanas - Separated by an arm of the Ria Formosa, Cabanas is quite and isolated. It can be reached by boat from Tavira:-
Resort Quinta Velha
Conceição - Opposite the village of the same name. Reached by boat. Extensive beach. Very calm.
Santa Luzia - A vast beach that offers hours of solitude, coupled with the pleasure of warm, clear waters.
Barril - Barril is long enough to encompass both the cosmopolitan atmosphere and near complete isolation.

Places of Interest
Luz de Tavira
The houses in Lux de Tavira have the traditional "platibandas" borders painted with geometrical or floral motifs, that frame walls, windowsand doorways - many of which are masterpieces of mortar work. The influence of the Art Nouveau decorative style, popular at the beginning of the century is apparent in the ornate chimneys rising from the roofs.
Main church - Built inthe 16th century much of the original structure has survived to the present day. The imposing Renaissance porch takes up
large part of tha main facade. The roofs of the three naves are hidden by an original and highly decorative ensemble made up of one semi-circular and two
triangular pediments. A statue of Nossa Senhora da Luz (our Lady of the Light) stands in a niche. There is a very ornate side porch in the Manueline style with columns carved in the shape of twisted ropes, a typically nautical motif. On the walls of the church there are four stone rosettes, interpreted as symbols of the sun, moon and stars.
A short way away stands the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Livramento (Our Lady of the Liberation) (18th century ) the exterior of which is plain and slightly bizarre. Its altar is in the baroque style.

The following Airlines fly into Faro, e.g. Aer lingus, Ryanair, Easyjet and Monarch.
From Faro Airport: Take the A22 motorway, exit at junction 16, follow the signs to Tavira. At the second roundabout take the third exit signposted to V.R.Sto.Antonio and take the the next right (600m from roundabout), them immediately right again and follow the road around to the complex.
There are a number of Car hire companies at the Airport, We would recommend Zitauto and they can be found at the information area at Faro Airport.
Also Taxi to complex €35 approx.

I would like to compliment you on the decor and cleanness of your property. My family and I had a fantastic holiday at your townhouse in Tavira. The views from your rooftop terrace are breathtaking.
On previous holidays in the Algarve we had stayed in Albufeira and Praia de Rocha, but it does not compare with Tavira. The Restaurants are better and the prices are cheaper.
I look forward in booking your townhouse again next Year.

I will just tell you that we had a lovely week in July in your house in Tavira. We really loved the beautiful house! The house was very well equipped. Everything was so modern, so cleen and perfect. And the terrace at the top roof was excellent with the spectaculare view of the town and the sea and the lovely garden furnitures! I can really recommend spending a holiday in this apartment!
And your agent Ann was perfect, she was so clever and kind and helped us every time we asked her for something.
