CASA JASMINA is spacious and comfortable, with beautiful timber-beamed rooms, and its own private swimming pool and large secluded sub-tropical garden. Casa Jasmina forms the superb private west wing of a traditional style Country Manor House. Casa Jasmina is a completely private and self-contained part of the main house, with its own parking area, own private gardens and secluded swimming pool, and private entrance door.
There is a cafe and restaurant within easy walk, and a sleepy traditional village 3 mins drive away offers another restaurant, post office, pharmacy, mini-markets, tavernas and cafes. It’s only 6 mins drive from beautiful medieval Tavira with its riverside restaurants, and several uncrowded golden sandy beaches. Casa Jasmina has a wonderful tranquil countryside setting and is the perfect place to relax and restore your spirits.

CASA JASMINA has two charming timber-beamed bedrooms, sleeping 4 people.
Both bedrooms are on the first floor, with wonderful views over the sub-tropical gardens.

The shower rooms are decorated with traditional hand-painted Portuguese tiles.
There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, hob and microwave.
The traditional timber-beamed living room and dining area is comfortably furnished. Patio doors open onto a covered terrace surrounded by sub-tropical plants, beside the swimming pool.

Casa Jasmina stands on a hillside with outstanding views of the countryside, with its ancient olive trees, vineyards and orange groves. The house and private pool are surrounded by beautiful sub-tropical gardens with many exotic plants and trees. Palms, jasmine, pistachio, mimosa, pepper and almond trees fringe the whole area.
Patio doors open onto a partially-covered terrace which offers some shade, and four steps lead up to the large sunbathing deck and the secluded palm-fringed swimming pool. The pool is approximately 6 x 3.5 metres and 90cms deep throughout. You can dine ‘al fresco’ under the stars, beside the pool which may be floodlit at night. Barbecue, sun loungers, patio furniture, and parasols are provided. Casa Jasmina is the perfect place to relax and restore your spirits.

Saturday is our changeover day. You may arrive/ leave on any day, but the weekly rate is charged from Saturday to Saturday.

BEACHES near Tavira are wide, sandy and safe for children, with the EC Blue Flag for cleanliness. The nearest beach is about 12 minutes drive from the villa.

The Tavira area
TAVIRA TOWN
Tavira is a picturesque town, with narrow cobbled streets, beautiful riverside gardens, many restaurants, old palaces, castle ruins and ancient Roman bridge spanning a wide river. There is a large daily vegetable and fish market, a wide variety of small shops, and a good selection of river-side restaurants where you may eat “al fresco”.
During the summer evenings Tavira hosts many cultural activities, including jazz at the Amphitheatre by the river, and folk dancing under the stars in the central gardens.

BEACHES: The nearest beach is 12 minutes drive from the villa. Refreshments, meals, sun-beds & parasols, are available on all local beaches. Tavira Island is particularly beautiful, reached by a short ferry ride. Local beaches are within the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, famed for its flamingoes.
The Spanish border is only thirty minutes drive from the villa. Historic Seville is 1.5 hours drive, and, with its ancient palaces, cathedrals and riverside parks, it is well worth a visit.
The Tavira shopping mall, Gran Plaza, has many clothes shops for those requiring some retail therapy, as well as several restaurants and cinemas.

Medieval Tavira is 6 mins drive.
Nearby village of Sto. Estevao is 3 mins drive.
Golf courses 10 mins drive
Spain is only 30 mins away, and Seville is only 1.5 hours drive away.

Wow! It is the only time we have found that a rental property was even better than the photographs published! The decorations and furnishings are excellent. The bedrooms are large, and the beds very comfy. Every detail was finished to the highest standard. The location in the countryside is wonderful, while still being near Tavira, and all the beaches.
