Air conditioning, shared large pool & jacuzzi, large 40 '' Phillips LED tv in lounge + 19'' Samsung LCD tv in bedroom, both connected to English satillite.Beautifully appointed kitchen with granite work surfaces,quality silver finish appliances, with full range of crockery / cooking utensils. Marble floors throughtout, with marble walls in kitchen and bathroom. Lift access, large private patio garden area with built in barbecue, and quality garden furniture. Video entry system, underground secure car parking,and high spec furniture throughout. A storage room is availble which can store golf or other leisure equipment. Travel cot avaiable for infants.
Situated just outside Tavira, in Mato Santo Espirito, the apartment is just 5 minutes away from Tavira town, the beaches, country walks and the Benamor Golf Club. So it's close enough to any action, but far enough away if you need some peace and quiet. All in all the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself !

The bedroom has his / hers double built in wardrobes complete with electronic safe, Samsung LCD tv, and mosquito net. The Samsung air conditioning systems in the lounge and bedroom are heat pumps. All patio doors have either electric or manual blind shutters. Smoke alarms, CO3 detector, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and video entry system have been installed for your safety. A number of books, games, and a Playstation 2 complete with own games are available for you to use. It is possible to 'piggyback' onto local wi - fi hotspots from our front bedroom balcony. A hydraulic lift can provide access from the basement secure parking area.The pool area has separate outside male / female changing, toilet, and shower facilities, for sole use by the apartment block tennants and guests. Shops, supermarkets, cafes, bars, and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Generally no smoking or pets - families or couples preffered.
The apartment is cleaned before and after every let. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided at the begining of the stay and an extra set of each will be given to guests staying two weeks or longer. Extra cleaning / linen services can be provided. (The apartment is throughly steam cleaned three to four times a year !)
We also provide beach towels for guests at no extra costs.
A £ 200.00 security bond is required with the balance payment. This is fully refundable provided there are no losses from, or damages to the apartment.
The Algarve region
The Eastern Algarve is a beautiful and unspoilt region of Portugal. With it's fantastic Blue Flag beaches, great golfing, peaceful countryside, open roads, hardly any crime, inexpensive fresh food and drink, a truly relaxing pace of life, relatively short travel time and consistently fine weather (on par with California). It offers the ideal environment for a relaxing holiday. Tavira itself is very picturesque and a proper working town, rather than a purpose made 'tourist trap'. It is regarded by many as 'the best town' in the Algarve, having lots of charm, many churches of architectual interest, and a vibrant ' cafe', and restaurant culture. It is still an active fishing port - lots of wonderful fresh fish - and has a lively cultural scene during the summer months.As the Algarve has a similar climate to that of California, this makes it perfect for a year round holiday location. There are several top flight golf courses within a 15 minutes drive of the apartment. The Spanish border is just 20 minutes away by car or ferry. Monte Gordo has a lively nightlife with a Casino, and is just 15 minutes away.Numerous castles & forts are located within the area at Tavira, Silves, Castro Marim and Cacela Velha. The Tavira Grand Plaza Shopping Centre is now open, and provides some fifty shops, twenty restaurants and four cinemas. "5 Star Apartment"
We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday staying at Peter & Helena's lovely apartment. As previous guests say you will not be disappointed as the apartment is exactly as advertised and the terrace is perfect for chilling out on with its array of pots containing exotic plants and herbs and we made plenty of use of the BBQ. Tavira town can be easily reached in about 35 mins if walking, with a stop at the Grand Plaza shopping centre to do a little retail shopping (Seaside shoe shop is amazing). We loved the area and location of apartment and would recommend without hesitation. Thank you for all your help with the booking Peter, can't wait for our next visit x

"Our Trusted Choice"
That's us back in Scotland after two fantastic weeks staying at Peter and Helena's excellent apartment. This is the fourth time we opted to stay here, it is an absolute home from home, with everything you need ( and more ) available in the apartment, and is somewhere that we absolutely trust to be entirely as advertised. The contact, paperwork and advice from Peter and Helena is fantastic, nothing appears to be a problem to them. As always, this was an excellent base for us to enjoy the Algarve. Would highly recommend.
