Casa de Campo is part of a small hamlet and consists of 3 one bedroom apartments and a comfortable sofa bed, all self contained with private veranda and large swimming pool, outside shower and barbecue area. The apartments can be let individually, or as a whole unit, sleeping 12 people. Casa de Campo is set in the tranquill countryside of the eastern Algarve. Portuguese golf courses are nearby and easily accesible, with Spanish golf courses a short hop across the border. The beautiful countryside features salt marshes and lakes which are ideal for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike. The nearby observatory is great for star gazing and provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Tavira features many cafes and restaurants where the local food and drink is both excellent and cheap. The nearby market in Tavira sells fresh produce (fish, meat, vegetables and more...). If you are looking for a holiday that will re-charge your batteries, relieve the stress levels, and fill you with bonhomie, Casa de Campo is the place for you!

The Algarve / East Algarve region

Situated approximately a 15 minute car ride from tavira, the beaches of the Eastern Algarve and its coastal towns. We are in easy reach of the golf courses, the Observatory for serious star gazers, and the salt marshes for serious bird watchers. In the Spring and Autumn we are visited by many migratory birds, but the common birds of the Algarve are here in abundance, and are stunning. As are the wild flowers which beat Province in the Spring.The area here is dotted with many lakes, especially in the nearby Parc Florestal where hunting and fishing is forbidden. Take the boat across to the pretty Isle of Tavira where you can sunbathe or swim in the pleasant waters of the Atlantic. The villa is a perfect location for golf in Portugal - and in Spain. Portugese golf courses: Benamor - 15 mins, Quinta De Cima - 20 mins, Quinta De Ria - 20 mins and Castro Marim - 20 mins Spanish golf courses: Isla Canela - 45 mins, Islantilla (as advertised in magazines), El Rompido and Villamoura - 1 hour. Brand new for this year - only 10 minutes away - the new Jack Nicklaus golf course. Casa Rolla is perfectly situated for both total relaxation and a variety of outdoor pursuits
How to get there
Fly to Faro. Budget airlines Easy Jet, Monarch and Ryan Air all fly to Faro. British Airways, Air 2000, TAP and Thompson-fly also fly to Faro. Ryan air flights to Seville which is about 1.5 hours drive away.
