Stunning, luxuriously appointed 3 double bedroom villa with private pool . Master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite and private balcony. Two others are double sized rooms with bathrooms and two single beds each. There is a spare double bedroom available on request with a double bed ,also a fold up single bed to accomodate a 9th guest. Beautiful living room with dining room and high spec kitchen. A/C in all rooms. Shutters, fly screens, sat. tv. for all UK freeview channels. Sky card friendly. Large balconies surround the villa with a large terrace area to rear for outdoor dining complete with table and chairs. Pool is regularly maintained with loungers to side. Full housekeeping service available with ample towels bedding etc. Villa is comfortable and suitable for families esp children. It is not recommended for aged or infirm clients as there are a lot of hills in the immediate area and many steps in villa itself.

With 3 double bedrooms and a spare double bedroom which is available on request there is no shortage of space in this lovely villa for all the family. It can accomodate up to 9 guests. Furnishing is to the highest standard both interior and exterior. There are sizeable built in wardrobes in all bedrooms with a safe in the master bedroom. A copious supply of instant hotwater is supplied with strong pressured showers for all bathrooms. The kitchen is high spec and modern.

The villa is located on the outskirts of Tavira, often referred to as the prettiest town in Portugal. It is known for its peacefulness with local markets for fresh fish, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There are many supermarkets offering great value for money. The beach is a short distant from the town. The Villa itself is in a secure walled condominium with electronic gates to main entrance, the front garden has its own electric gates also, all operated by remote control (supplied). There is ample secure parking. A refreshing pool to the side offers the holidaymaker great enjoyment. The ample balconies and terraces particularly the rear terrace extending from the kitchen area allows dining al fresco for all the family.

It is desired to keep rental details and conditions as simple as possible. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with balance paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A local representative will meet all guests on arrival and help them familiarise themselves with their holiday accomodation and will be available 24/7 for any problems. They live in the vicinity so a phone call is all thats required to summon them.
On arrival a 200 euro damage deposit will be taken by the representative and refunded in full on satisfactory inspection of the property on departure of guests. This money will be transferred electronically to the clients account within a few days.
All applications for cancellations will be looked at sympathetically and judged on their individual merits.
Conditions
While there is no objection to smokers it would be preferred if they smoked in any of the ample outdoor areas.

The Algarve is the most southern region of mainland Portugal. It is Europe's sunniest place with Europe's finest and longest beaches. It is a country full of history and tradition. it is a very popular destination for tourists because of its beaches, Mediterranean climate, safety and low costs. Its temperature ranges from 15 degrees C in winter to over 30 in summer.
The economy of the Algarve has traditionally been associated with fishing. There is also wine in abundance. The Algarve has invested heavily in tourism and in promoting its natural beauty, scenery, and beaches etc. It is also very involved in the Golf industry and has created a substantial network of beautifull golf courses. There is a world class golf course in Cabannas just 5 kms from Tavira.
There is a single track railway line which runs from Lagos to Vila Real do Santo Antonio that also links to the line running from Faro to Lisbon. The Algarve is also well serviced by the A22 a new major motorway, which actually links the visitor to the whole of mainland Europe. The old ''ÉN 125'' road is still operational and will connect to all the old and historic villages.
The Tavira / Quinta de Pegada area
Tavira has a quiet friendly ambience and makes any tourist feel welcome. It is the oldest and most picturesque towns in the Algarve, built on either side the river Galao. This river is crossed by two low bridges one of which has its origions from Roman times. Its main industry is fishing but this is supplemented by many tourists arriving each year. Many restaurants and shops are lined along the river with tiny bars and daily fresh fruit markets. A short ferry trip from the town centre will carry the tourist to the Ilha de Tavira and its superb island beaches. These local ferries run on a timetable and very little cost.
The Castle battlements are easily reached, from which there is a beautiful view over 18th century pyramid shaped rooftops. This feature is very distinct to the eastern Algarve. The working salt pans and the derelect tuna canning factories are visible to the eye. In the middle ages these were accessed by cargo ships transporting salt and dried fish to north-west Europe and Africa .
There is a large catholic population in Tavira with many old churches dating from the renaissance period. The town is transformed at night with its illuminated white buildings and many free festivals in the town square hosting live music venues. The availabilitty of golf nearby holds a big attraction for visitors also. The nearest Golf course is only 3 kms away called 'Benamor' in Cabanas. In this area you can also find 'Quinta da Ria' 10kms, 'Quinta de Cima' also 10kms. There are also Jack Nicklaus and Seve Ballesteros designed courses within a 20 km area towards the Spanish border at Monte Rei and Quinta do Vale respectively..

Faro airport is 30 mins away by motorway. (32 kms). It is a major destination for many airlines including: Easyjet, Jet 2 & Ryanair with daily flights from most major UK and Rep of Irl airports. There is a pletora of car hire companies based in Faro airport including: Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, Sixt etc. as well as several Portuguese firms.They are all competitively priced. If you prefer a taxi, there are numerous companies parked out side the terminal buildiing, a taxi fare to the villa costs, at most, 45 euros irrespect of the number of passengers travelling in the vehicle.
