The south facing garden, with its established almond trees, terraces and 8m fresh water pool provides your personal oasis, as long as you can resist the fantastic nearby family-friendly beaches, of which some of the finest include Monte Gordo, Praia Verde, Altura, Manta Rota, Cacela Velha & Cabanas - all just a few mins drive from the villa!
To savour the outdoor space we have sun loungers, BBQ area with large table & chairs for al fresco dining & additional terrace furniture for the upstairs bedrooms - wonderful at dawn or dusk with your favourite cuppa or tipple!

Final payment is due on or before 6 weeks of arrival.
If you require a welcome pack then please advise requirements. There will be a charge for this service.

The eastern Algarve region or Sotavento as it is known, is the unspoilt part of the Algarve that is truly Portuguese. The beaches here are stunning and unlike the west Algarve are wide and open - ideal for families. The water here also tends to be warmer than the west. Temperatures can range from the upper 30's C in summer to a pleasant 14-18 C in winter. Here also you will find a wide range of fresh produce, particularly local caught fish available from the markets in most towns.
Just 2 Km from the Villa there is the historic village of Cacela Velha with its 18th Century castle and magnificent views over to the Ria Formosa - you can easily get a taxi boat ride accross the Ria for a few euros - well owth a trip. The regional centre and old town of Tavira is just 5 mins away by car - here you will find the ancient Roman bridge accross the river Gilao.
The Tavira / Cacela Velha area
Casa da Oliveira is located in the East Algarve village of Santa Rita near Vila Nova de Cacela & Tavira and is ideally located for trips to the beaches of Monte Gordo, Praia Verde, Manta Rota, Cacela Velha, Fabrica, Cabanas & Tavira that are just a few Km away, with excellent cafes, restaurants & bars. The resort town of Monte Gordo also has a large casino for the keen gambler! The beautiful beach resort, pine forest & nature reserve of Praia Verde is only 10 mins away. Vila Real de Santo Antonio is only 15 mins away with great shops, a wonderful marina & promenade by the river Guadiana.
Vila Real also has an IAAF approved sports centre accredited by the Olympic Committee of Portugal, used extensively by world class athletes & coaches. Santa Rita is also ideally situated for trips to Spain for a change of scenery and culture, Ayamonte being the closest Spanish town just 20 mins by car or why not take the ferry boat from Vila Real. Seville is under 2 hrs away!

Casa da Oliveira is located in the East Algarve village of Santa Rita between Vila Nova de Cacela & Tavira and is ideally located for trips to the beaches of Monte Gordo, Praia Verde, Manta Rota, Cacela Velha, Fabrica, Cabanas & Tavira that are just a few Km away. The villa is easily reached by car from Faro airport (approx 35-40mins away) via the motorway or you may want to consider flights to Seville airport (approx 1.5 hrs away). Most Portuguese car hire firms operate from Faro airport. We can recommend a long established car hire company to you if you need one.

A rental deposit of 25% of the total rental price is required when making the reservation. Reservations will be confirmed when the deposit is received. The remaining 75% is payable on or before 6 weeks of arrival.
A £250 (€300 Euro) refundable security/breakage deposit is required with the final payment and will be returned after one week subject to no damages or breakages. Breakages or damage will be charged at replacement or repair cost and deducted from the deposit - any balance will be returned. Breakages or damage exceeding the deposit will be charged additionally at cost. Note, small accidental breakages such as a single piece of crockery is not classed as a breakage.
10% discount for Low and Mid season reservations made and paid for 4 weeks prior to arrival.
All linen and towels are provided and included in the rental price. All we ask is that you bring your own beach towels.
We have friendly English and Portuguese speaking 'meet and greet' agents who will show you around the property, explain how things work and assist you in anyway they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
We strongly recommend all independent travellers obtain adequate travel insurance with cancellation cover before their journey.
