The apartment has two bedrooms, living/dining room, fully-fitted kitchen and bathroom/W.C. One bedroom has a double-bed, the other has two single-beds. The living room has two sofa-beds. Both bedrooms and living room have air-conditioning operated by a remote control (these units are also heaters).
There are two balconies, one in the double-bedroom which overlooks the swimming-pool with views across the countryside towards Benamour golf course. In the living room, the larger of the two balconies has views across the rooftops of private villas out towards the Atlantic Ocean on the horizon. As the swimming-pool can also be seen from the living room balcony, it is ideal from a safety point of view as far as keeping an eye on the children, without having to sit by the pool. There is a table and chairs on the living room balcony.
As some of the airlines are becoming stricter on size of hand luggage and weight of hold luggage, it's important to minimize what you take on holiday with you. The following list of facilities includes some items you may normally take with you and others you may have to buy while you are away. The apartment has all of the following:- iron, hairdryer, beach towels, cooler-bag, beach umbrellas, inflatables.

In the living/dining room there is a dining table and six chairs, two comfortable sofas, coffee table and flat screen t.v. which has all the British channels. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes with ample drawer space (for keeping valuables there is a safe in the double-bedroom wardrobe). The kitchen has all the facilities required for a self-catering holiday and there is also filtered water on tap so there is no need to buy (and carry) large amounts of bottled water from the supermarket.

There is a shared swimming-pool which can only be accessed by the residents and guests through the underground car-park. There are both male and female changing facilities by the pool, which include showers and toilets. The swimming-pool is circular and has a jacuzzi by the steps on the shallow side.

The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults sharing the two bedrooms. One or two children can also be catered for using the sofa-beds in the living room. As well as secure, underground parking, the apartment block has video-phone entry. The apartment is on the first floor and can be reached by either stairs or lift. There is an English speaking keyholder on site who is very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area.
There is a small, friendly bar and two highly-recommended restaurants very close to the apartment. On the web site there are maps of the area showing the apartment location and the local facilities.
Day trips can be organised for those who would like to see more of the Algarve but do not wish to hire a car. The apartment is in a perfect position, not only for exploring the Algarve but also for trips to Spain which is only approx. 30 mins. away on the motorway. Public transport links are very good, take a short walk to the main road and you can get a bus to Vila Real de Santo Antonio where you can then get the ferry over to Spain. Alternatively, from Tavira station, you can catch a train which runs almost the full length of the Algarve.

25% deposit secures your booking, the balance to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival.

The Algarve / East Algarve region
The Algarve is situated on the extreme south coast of Portugal. It's coastline spans over 200 kilometres and boasts some of Europe's cleanest and most picturesque sandy beaches, many of which are "Blue Flag" award winners. The East Algarve has one of the most settled climates in the world and certainly has the best all-year climate in the whole of Europe.
It is very difficult to describe a feeling. It is easy to talk about the world-class golf courses, the miles of beautiful beaches and the excellent bars and restaurants to be found on the Algarve. It is more difficult to describe how being in a certain place is so much better than being anywhere else. This is how it feels being on the Algarve.
The Tavira / Mato Santo Espirito area
Over the last decade Tavira has improved as a tourist location whilst managing to retain the original characteristics that make it one of the most unique and beautiful towns in the Algarve. Historians and sightseers can marvel at the castle, bridges, buildings and churches. Sun-worshippers, hop on the ferry to the never-ending beach on the Ilha de Tavira (ranked by Lonely Planet as one of the 10 World's best beaches to travel with children).

Fly to Faro Airport, Tavira is approximately 35 minutes away by car.
Cheap flights are available from most British airports with many budget airlines, including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Fly2 and more.
Car hire is available at Faro Arport from all the major companies, e.g. Europcar, Sixt, Hertz and many more, but it is worth checking the internet before you book as there are others e.g. carrentalabroad who are very competitively priced.
Public transport is available from Faro to Tavira.
Local taxi services are available at the airport charging between €50 and €60, however, we can arrange airport transfers considerably cheaper than this.
