The Algarve / East Algarve region

Casa Diana is within 10 minute drive from Benamor Golf club at Cabanas. Also 10 minute drive from Barril beach, offering an array of watersports, restaurants, and boutiques. Perfect for long beach walks, and within a 10 minute walk along the beach you can have private bathing even in peak season!
Fresh fish, grilled on an open fire, is an obvious choice in Tavira and the surrounding fishing villages.There is an abundance of fine traditional restaurants within 10 minutes drive.


Tavira / Sinagoga area

Situated 30km east of Faro, Tavira is one of the most attractive and oldest towns in the Algarve and, with a wide range of attractions and excellent fish restaurants, makes the best base in the east. Set on both sides of the gently flowing Rio Gilao, Tavira is a graceful little town of fine white mansions with hipped terracotta roofs and wrought-iron balconies, topped by a neat little castle.
Beautiful empty beaches with sands that go on forever. Fields of orange trees, heavy with the cent of blossom. Then hills of fig and almond trees and houses with dazzling whitewashed walls and distinctive chimneys decorated to resemble the fine tracery of lace. And, last of all, the great open spaces of the hills, where eagles soar, birds sing and flowers bloom. This is just a hint of the charms of Tavira and its municipality, and invitation to come and find out more.

Take the N125 (north) and head towards IP1 (E1) motorway for approximately 3 miles.

Continue north on N125-4 for approximately 2 miles.

Turn onto the IP1 (E1) motorway and head towards Tavira for approximately 15 miles.

Take the exit signposted towards Tavira (N270).

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N270 and head towards the N125.

At the next roundabout take the first exit (signposted towards Santo Estevao) onto the N125 (approximately 300 metres).

Take the first right off the N125 (approximately 1.5 miles).

Head towards the roundabout . At the roundabout take the third exit (sign posted towards Santo Estevao) on the N125
