Set in a secluded area of Tauro, but within an 8 minute walk or 3 minute drive, to the first tee of the new Tauro PGA Championship Golf Course, Spar Shop and the Anfi Tauro Grill restaurant. Villa Unique was designed by an English architect and built in 1995 to an extremely high specification and set in beautiful grounds of some 600 square metres. The villa has an abundance of marble and has tiled floors throughout. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard throughout. Outside, the main patio area overlooks the heated swimming pool which measures approximately 24x14ft. The main patio is reached through the patio doors from the lounge area and it is here where you can comfortably sit, BBQ and quietly watch the world go by with a cool glass of wine and take a refreshing dip in the pool when needed. The villa has FREE Wi-Fi, Satellite TV with DVD/Cinema system with a large collection of recent films, music and iPod docking. Air-conditioning and heating throughout.

The villa is equipped and furnished to a very high standard with an abundance of marble.
The lounge area has a large comfortable corner unit witha dvd/cineam system with media player and iPod docking station - this system has all the latest films and music collections. FREE Wi-Fi is provided too!
There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 with large King Size beds and the other with 2 x Single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite and all bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. The en-suite is fitted with toilet, bidet, twin hand basins and shower, the large family bathroom has a bath with shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality fitted units with marble surface and has an oven/hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave - is equipped with quality crockery, glasses, cuttlery and utensils.
There is a dining area directly next to the kitchen and a utility room, which has a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
This property is unique to Spain, as set on one level and extremely suitable for those who do not wish to negotiate stairs. It is very accessible for wheelchair users. There is only one step to negotiate between the entrance hall and lounge area and to the heated private swimming pool.

The large gardens contain an abundance of plants and flowers with lawn areas for sun-bathing. The large swimming pool measures 24ft x 14ft with an average depth of 1.2metres. The pool is solar powered and kept to an average temperature of 30 degrees in the summer and 25 degrees in winter periods (Nove - Feb). There is also a poolside shower. There is plenty of patio furniture and sun loungers. A large gas BBQ is made available, perfect for outside dining.
The Gran Canaria region
Gran Canaria, really Grand Canary (archaic), is the third largest island of the Canary Islands, an archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean 210 km from the north-west coast of Africa and belonging to Spain. It is located south-east of Tenerife and west of Fuerteventura. The island is of volcanic origin.
The island was populated by the Guanches, who may have arrived as early as 500 BC. The Guanches called the island Tamaràn. It was claimed by Spain in the 15th century.
Gran Canaria's surface is 1,560 km2 and its maximum altitude is 1,949 metres (Pico de Las Nieves). It has a round shape, having a diametre of just about 50 km.
The Tauro / Pueblo de Tauro area
The pueblo (Small village) of Tauro, up to 5 years ago was a sleepy backwater totally unlike the more busy resort of Puerto Rico, which is around 3 kms away.
One of the major changes in the valley of Tauro is a new 18 - hole PGA Championship Golf Course. There is also a beautiful, yet demanding 9-Hole par 3 golf course with an adjacent excellent driving range. Golf lessons are available if required. Tauro still maintains its unique tranquillity that is so much enjoyed by very many people, but is still close to local beaches and resorts. (Tauro to Puerto Rico by taxi - €4).
