The property is on the hillside at the head of the valley with wonderful views down to the sea. It has 3 double bedrooms two of which have patio doors directly onto the terrace. The open- plan living area is very spacious and comfortable with lounge area and dining table with room for 8 people the large patio doors lead out to the terrace where there is dining table for 8 people. There is satellite TV, DVD player,radio and. large selection of DVDs. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, eye-level oven, microwave and washing machine. The Gran Canaria region
Gran Canaria has some of the most spectacular and varied scenery of the Canary Islands. It is easy to understand why it is called the sunshine island with a year round daytime temperature of between 22 degrees and 30 degrees A place to relax on the beauriful beaches, inland you will find perfumed pine forests. The sand dunes at Masaplomas are spectacular. Ride a camel, have fun at the aqua park ( only a 5mins. drive from Tauro), Las Palmas is a wonderful old city ready to be explored, safari treks, scuba diving, fishing, glass bottomed boats to help you see the under the ocean without getting wet and many more exciting opportunities.
Tauro / Anfi Tauro Resort area
Tauro is a great place to stay, it is a quiet residential area where you can come back for peace at the end of a busy day, or, if you really want to chill out with half a dozen books, having the occasional long massage in the hot-tub, it's perfect for that too. The 18 hole and 9 hole golf courses and driving range are under 15mins walk away and has very reasonable fees. There is a really nice supermarket ( bakes fresh bread daily) they will deliver if you ask. There is also a restaurant which comes with very good recommendations. All these places come within a 10 - 15mins walk from your villa.
How to get there
Many budget airlines fly into Las Palmas - also Iberian Airways. ryanair have just startedflying into gran canaria at very good rates
Many of the well known car hire firms operate ouit of the airport - there are also many island companies operate on the island.

Further details indoors: The villa is very home from home and really well and comfortably furnished. wo double bedrooms have views to the mountains and sea with patio doors to terrace. The other large bedroom has one single and one double bed. If you do have a chilly night in the winter season (during nightime the temperature can drop to 16degrees) we have thought of your every comfort so you will find a supply of blankets as well as the bed quilts. All rooms also have very effective ceiling fans, if you need them. The kitchen is well equipped and well designed for ease of use.
Further details outdoors: The terrace runs the whole way around the villa with quite stunning views down the valley to the sea. The hot-tub is on one area of the terrace giving the same beautiful views. There are two dining tables outside one would seat eight and the other six. The main dining table has a canopy overhead to give shade during the day. We have a young man who will come round twice a week to test the hot tub and make sure everything is working properly. For golf lovers the Anfi 18 hole golf course and a 9 hole course plus a great driving range are within 15 mins walk.
Further details
Regarding children, there is space inside and out for them to run around but it is all terrace, no grass area. It should be noted that there are steps leading down to the house but once there everything is on the level.
