Rock Farm is a stunning grade II listed farmhouse which has been completely restored and renovated from the ground up to the very highest standard with our first guests having arrived in March 2014. Dating back many centuries, this property combines all the original features one might expect such as inglenook fireplaces, original beams and of course the thatched roof with modern luxuries like under floor heating, en-suite bedrooms and an electric Aga.

This property is split into two parts - the main original house and the Granary (annexe) which forms the other side of the courtyard setting. The main house has 4 beautiful en-suite bedrooms and is where the main kitchen, dining and living areas can be found which will accommodate the whole group comfortably. The Granary has 3 bedrooms which represent the quirky side of the property; each with their own distinctive style they share a good sized bathroom and the smaller of the bedrooms has it's own balcony from which to you can gaze over a significant proportion of Somerset.

This property is situated in an outstanding location on the side of the highest point of the Quantock Hills; an area of outstanding natural beauty approximately a 15 min drive from the market town of Taunton. This means that the views from the house are simply stunning and you can see miles upon miles of Somerset's finest rolling hills and landscape. A particular delight when the West Somerset steam train is passing in the distance or when the mist settles beneath the house and all ahead of you is a sea of cloud...

Rock Farm is equipped with stables and a paddock so it is perfect for groups that would like to bring their horses to explore riding routes covering some of the most breath taking, beautiful countryside in the UK. These circular routes reaching across Exmoor and the Quantock Hills will offer horse owners the opportunity to enjoy a horse holiday of a lifetime!

"Amazing Hen Party Weekend... couldn't have been more perfect!"

We stayed at Rock Farm for the weekend in a group of 14 for my hen do. It was absolutely wonderful! Stunning location, beautiful interiors and very homely yet spacious with lots of different areas to spend our time. Loved the games room and hot tub and the huge dining room and outdoor table was perfect for us and all our activities. Not a detail was left out and we had everything we could possibly want in one place, which was just perfect. The activities available to book alongside our stay were all excellent with some lovely people - clay pigeon shooting just a short walk across the fields, wine tasting and a chef cooked us dinner one evening - all delivered to a high standard and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thoroughly recommend Rock Farm - peaceful little bit of heaven! Thank you for a wonderful time

"Brilliant Hen Do Destination!"

We stayed at Rock Farm from a Friday afternoon till Sunday lunch time. It is a beautiful picturesque part of Somerset off the beaten track. The house itself is perfect, mainly large en suite bedrooms, large comfortable communal areas indoors and out and decorated to a very high standard, and very well equipped. There are great activities locally, Clay pigeon shooting and wine tasting and some lovely country pubs. We had an excellent weekend and would highly recommend a stay there!
