Upstairs the original pine flooring dates from when The Granary was used to store sacks of corn. The West Country / Somerset region
Somerset has plenty to offer the visitor.Taunton is only 4 miles, with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Lyme Regis only 40 minutes on the south coast. Horse riding and quad biking can be arranged.
Not far from the coast and with undulating countryside there are beaches to comb and moors to wander through.
Exeter is not far with its stunning cathedral a delightful stretch of river. Bath can be visited in a day, Taunton the county town is only 4 miles with excellent shopping facilites, restaurants and bars.
The Taunton / Wrantage area
Next door to The Granary is the Spa room with a hot-tub and sauna to book as a package with the accommodation if required.Providing excluisve use of the facilities with a full range of holistic health and beauty treatments available on site.
The property is surrounded by 80 acres of unspoilt countryside. A very quiet, peaceful location, great for walking. The Line Wood woodland walk is only 1 mile from here in Hatch Beauchamp near a country pub serving great food, The Hatch Inn. Wrantage and Hatch Beauchamp are both only one mile.Minibus with driver available for hire. Gastro pub only 3 miles.We also provide delivered meals if required.
Exmoor with its beautiful moor land and the Quantock hills are within easy reach, where pony trekking and escorted horse riding can be arranged.
