The Somerset region

The West Country is well known for its sunshine, beaches, hills and is a perfect holiday location.

Somerset is ideal in that it is so much easier to access than other West Country counties - being only a three hour drive for London and nearer from many other parts of the countries.

Somerset has fabulous beaches - areas of wilderness ( Exmoor and The Quantocks) as well as bustling Towns , great shopping and fabulous locally produced food and drink ( cider!) and restaurants and pubs to enjoy these items in.

Taunton

Cherry Tree Farmhouse is located on the edge of a stunning conservation hamlet with a great pub in easy walking distance- see www.thenewinnhalse.co.uk - there is also a weekly community farm shop and great walking from the door.

Near to the village are lots of wonderful tourist attraction, great local pubs and restaurants as well as well as some of natures most stunning countryside right on our door steps - including Exmoor and the Quantock Hills.
