About the home

Puddle Duck Lodge is located on Misty Bay a quiet corner of the Water Ski Lake, it has a raised terrace with a hot tub and patio furniture for al fresco dining and stunning views over the lake and golf course. Luxuriously furnished and carpeted throughout. Three bedrooms, one double with walk through wardrobe and en suite shower and two twin bedrooms and a family shower room. Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Ideal for families or anyone who just wants to get away from it all.

Great for golfers, just step out of the door and you are virtually on the 1st tee of the 18 hole, par 66, 4587 yard golf course.
Tattershall Lakes is 360 acres of woodland and lakes with walks and cycle paths, watersports such as jet skiing, water skiing, ringo and banana rides are now available, there are 4 fishing lakes and an 18 hole golf course.
Indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, steam room, gym and spa for pamper treatments open from late March until November, passes are required and are available from guest services.

Tattershall Lakes Country Park is a great place for a break away and offers something for everyone, families, friends, couples, young or old and everyone in-between, there are plenty of activities or just sit back relax and enjoy the lake views, the countryside and the wildlife.
There is an 80 acre water ski lake, 45 acre jet ski lake, 4 well stocked fishing lakes, 18 hole golf course, walks, cycle paths, children's play area, the boathouse bar and diner, the propeller bar with lake views, sports t.v. snooker and pool tables.From Easter to the end of October the park offers numerous activities including family entertainment and weekend cabarets in the clubhouse, kids club, various water sports such as jet ski hire, water ski lessons, banana and ringo rides, kayak safaris or the more sedate pedlows, bicycle hire, golf club and fishing rod hire.

The new heated indoor swimming pool with spa for pamper treatments, sauna, steam room, gym and relaxation area are open from Easter until the beginning of November. Also on the park is a well equipped launderette and from April to the end of October a convenience store.

“Amazing” Me & my family stayed here 4 a week at the beginning of September & I can't praise everything enough!! Lodge was very clean,nice quiet location on the lake. There is a raf base close by where the fighter jets take off, they are noisy, but amazing 2 watch & I'm not a fan of planes!! Owners Ann & Martin couldn't do enough for you, all in all a great holiday & we are looking to book next year

“A wonderful, well-equipped, weekend!!!” Puddle Duck Lodge was an absolute pleasure to stay in - spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. We were able to book for just 2 nights which was fantastic as we had been struggling to find anything other than minimum 3 night stays at this time of year. The hot tub was a boon as the children loved it during the day and the adults in the evening!!! The lodge was comfortable and in a beautiful spot right in a quiet corner of one of the lakes. We shall definitely be returning to Puddle Duck Lodge - hopefully for longer next time!!!

“Amazing, Relaxing, Beautiful lodge and excellent location.” What a fantastic place it is so good we have booked to go back next year for not 1 but 2 weeks. Myself, my husband, 8 year old son, 6 year old daughter , my mum and dad ( in their 70's) stayed here for a week 23rd July 2012. We have been doing Lodge holidays for 5 years now and Puddle Duck Lodge is Perfect ,the views of the lake are lovely, the lodge is spacious and spotless. After reading a recent review about the noise from the planes I was worried a little but all I can say is that they had obviously hit a bad weekend as the planes did not fly at all Saturday or Sunday and on a Monday to Friday it was only between 9.30am to about 6.30pm all the people we spoke to who have lodges their confirmed this also. You get used to the noise when they do go over and we all found it fantastic watching them. The lodge is on a quiet bay of the water ski lake which is a lovely setting. The children loved feeding the Ducks and riding their bikes around the site. The hot tub was amazing and the children loved it so much that when we went out on days they just wanted to get home to the tub. We adults spent many a late evening relaxing in the hot tub after a barbeque. Ann and Martyn where amazing and where kind enough to let my husband fish on their private peg at Shelduck. He had 3 great mornings fishing and on one of them caught a 12.7 lb common carp. We had great days out at Skegness (40 mins away), Cleethorpes (1 hour away) , Mablethorpe (50 mins away) , Woodhall spa (6 mins away) Horncastle (12 mins away) and Lincoln ( 45 mins away) The location of the park is ideal for some great days out but the lodge is so great you may just want to stay put. Thanks Ann & Martyn we look forward to returning next year.

“Not a quiet location at all” I wish we had known this lodge was right at the side of the RAF landing strip before we booked. When we arrived we thought the lodge was beautiful especially with it over looking the lake. We soon realised that there was alot of fighter jets taking off and circling around the resort. Just to be clear these are the type of jets that you have to shout to one another if one is near when youre having a conversation. We were told by the staff in the boathouse that they stop flying round about 12 noon. This wasnt the case as we found it was all throughout the day. We didnt mind so much through the day as we just learnt to put up with the ear peircing noise even though it was so loud it made our baby hysterically cry everytime. The thing that was really upsetting was when they were taking off every 5mins throughout the night. Our baby wouldnt stop crying and the lodge shuck with the loud rumbling noise. I filmed this happening as myself and my husband couldnt believe this was happening at 12:45 at night. I litrally felt like our bed was on the run way as the noise and vibrations were that loud. I put on my dressing gown and decided to walk over the grass verge and see how far away the landing strip was and i was shocked to see it was litrally a stones throw away. Its such a shame as this is such a beautiful lodge and i do strongly think that people should be made aware of this when booking because we personally wouldnt have booked this because the noise scared our baby and kept us awake. Response: All I can say is I am very sorry for the distress the planes caused, it is very unusual for the planes to fly that late at night, they normally finish around 7.00p.m. and the jets do not normally fly at weekends unless taking part in airshows or flypasts. During the week mentioned there was alot more activity than is usual.

“Relaxing” 2 adults and 5 children, 2 of them babies, to say we were expecting it to be cramped was an understatement. How wrong we were! The lodge is large and well designed, comfortable and warm, and the views! What a fantastic, relaxing few days we had, none of us wanted to go home. We will be visiting again for sure.
