About the home

Situated next to each other these two luxurious and spacious front line beach villas in Tatlisu, near Kyrenia, North Cyprus boast two communal swimming pools (including a children's pool), direct access to the nearby beach, and have breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Comfortably accommodating 6 people in each villa (12 people in total when you book both villas) and finished to a luxurious specification, the villas boast 3 double sized bedrooms - all with sliding patio doors & built in wardrobes (master bedroom with ensuite bathroom) - and a second bathroom. Large open plan sunny lounge and kitchen/diner with double glazed windows & patio doors to all aspects, giving panoramic views and leading out onto the large terraced areas. The lounge has a TV & CD player, and is comfortably furnished with a three piece lounge suite and dining table & chairs. The fully equipped open plan kitchen has everything you need including fridge/freezer, oven & hob, washing machine, and microwave. The villas have been finished to a high specification, benefiting from air conditioning and ceramic floors throughout.

The large terraced areas and balconies are equipped with sunloungers and a patio table & chairs - giving some ideal areas in which to sunbathe, or simply relax with a cool drink and a good book.

Ideally situated for families, where children can play in a safe and secure environment, and for golfers, with an excellent 18-hole golf course within 10 minutes' drive. Also an idyllic & romantic setting just for two!

Tatlisu is rich in terms of its natural beauty, with both marvellous sea and mountain views. A new highway has been constructed for easy access. Villas Tatlisu are perched on cliffs overlooking the sea with a small private beach at the bottom of a winding path. Beautiful mountain walks are on your doorstep. With private and communal swimming pools and a barbecue area, you have great facilities for outdoor living.

Beautifull villa with views over looking the Mediterranean Sea, the villa and garden is completley walled with no passing traffic. Here you can relax in the sun on the loungers with umbrella's provided along with air beds for your private pool. There is a fixed stone BBQ next to the beautiful marble table on the patio area. If you fancy a change from dipping into the pool there is a pebbled beach only a few minutes walk from the villa and is suitable for snokeling.
You don't have to go far for an evening out as there is a restaurant on site with entertainment within a short waking distance but will not desturb the tranquillity of your villa. There are several restaurants within walking distance with entertainment in the evening also. There is an information booklet in villa with activities/restaurants in the immediate area and nearby villa's.

Further details

A welcome package will be made available at your request and charged at the price of purchase. Payment may be made by Cheque, Bank or Transfer, together with any foreign currency handling fee, if applicable. A non-refundaable deposit of 25% of your rental price secures your booking.
The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival, together with a £150 security bond, this will be returned to you less electricity and water cost and subject to any losses or damage within 1 month of your departuree

The electricity is expensive and water scares in Cyprus and should be used with care . Air con should be used sparingly and only put on when doors are closed to get maximum effect.

Hirers should ensure that they are adequately insured prior to the commencement of their stay. Pool areas are dangerous and can become slippy when wet. Neither the agents or the owners can be held liable for activities and accidents in and around the pool. It is the responsibility of hirers to ensure that children are adequately supervised in the villa, garden terrace, patio and pool areas at all times.

Conditions

Bookings are charged on a weekly basis and can be booked at a special rates for longer periods. It is possible to book the villa for additional days, over and above complete weeks, should you so wish. This will be charged at the relevant daily rate of £64 (low season); £77 (med season); and £85 (high season)

The Kyrenia region

North Cyprus has been isolated from the rest of Europe until quite recently, so it is more the Mediterranean of your dreams; quieter, less developed, less tourist-oriented. With beautiful countryside, near-deserted beaches, uncongested roads, soaring mountains, and prices lower than Euro zone countries, it is the place to be! English is widely spoken and the Turkish Cypriot people are renowned for their generous hospitality; you are made to feel very welcome. If you like peace and tranquility yet enjoy the trappings of modern life, North Cyprus cannot be beaten

The Tatlisu area is located about 5 minsutes from Esentepe and 20-25 minutes drive from Kyrenia - to its east. the village has several restaurants/bars, mini-markets, a butcher, internet cafe, small post office, two banks (1 with ATM from 2011), two hairdressers, medical centre, police station, and a football stadium. There are also 2 medium sized supermarkets within 2-3 minutes drive from the villa that stock baby foods and nappies, etc. and a small selection diabetic and gluten-free foods.

Close to the villa are several large turtle beaches, with Kaplica Beach, a lovely sandy bay overlooked by the ruins of Kantara Castle, just a 10 minute drive away. A little further afield is the historic port & harbour of Kyrenia. The island has a great historical past, and there are many tourist attractions to be found. The border is only 35 km from the apartment, and the modern Nicosia is full of shops such as M & S, Next etc.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the beautiful and lush 18-hole championship course at the Korinium Golf and Country Club only 10 minutes drive away. Visitors can play either the complete 18-hole course, or just 9 holes, or the driving range. A golf shop and tuition are also available. The Club also provides spa and various massage & body treatment services, the latter including facial and nail care.

The Acapulco Resort is situated approx 15 minutes drive to the west toward Kyrenia. For a reasonable daily fee, visitors can enjoy the private sandy beach, extensive heated pools and water slides for children and adults, casino, and other facilities. Additionally, the Resort contains probably the most luxurious spa and wellness centre in Northern Cyprus.

The exotic cuisine of Cyprus reflects its history and maritime associations. Turkish Cypriot cooking is a fascinating blend of East and West. Evening meals begin with a sumptuous "meze" - hors d'oeuvres consisting of as a many as 20 small dishes - before the main course.

The Tatlisu area

The coastline of North Cyprus offers some of the finest and safest bathing areas in the Mediterranean, and the crystal clear waters of the eastern Med are wonderful for swimming, diving & snorkelling, sailing & water-skiing. The picturesque ancient port of Girne is on the north coast, and Gazimagosa is in the east.

Inland, behind the rocky Girne range and the imposing Five Finger Mountain, stretches the huge fertile Mesaoria plain, Ercan airport and the island's capital, Lefkosa.

Along the east coast lie the ancient fortified city of Gazimagosa and the nearby ruins of Salamis.
