This part of the coast of Spain is the only place not spoilt, by mass tourism and construction. Its an amazing area with beautiful beaches, amazing countryside and a original historical centre. You are also well placed to visit sights in the north of Africa, as well as Gibraltar.
Tarifa / Old Town Tarifa area
Tarifa is a wonderful location situated only 8 miles across the sea from Morocco and easy to get to from 3 airports. Tarifa makes a great winter break being further south than parts of Africa and is not spoilt like much of the Mediterranean coast. It's a real place with lots of things to do and see.

Further details outdoors: A commonly asked question is about parking. Parking in the old town is on the street, so its a matter of luck if there's space available directly outside any of the properties especially in peak summer season. I normally drive to my front door and unload my board, shopping or what ever and then drive out of the Old town wall to find free parking less than 5 minutes walk away.
