Home description

2 bedroom apartment with large lounge containing double sofa bed and settee. Fully fitted dining kitchen with full size cooker and fridge/freezer. Bathroom. Private garden area with furniture and use of owners 10 x 5 swimming pool. Ample parking and lock up storage area for sports equipment. Close to Tarifa with its long sandy beaches and water sport facilities.
There are many places of interest in the area including the stunning roman ruins at Bolonia. Horse riding is available locally, and hill walking is very popular. The area is known to be of extreme interest to bird watchers and many varieties can be spotted from the garden.
All in all the property is ideal for wind and kite surfers who do not want to stay within the town of Tarifa, with its late night bars and nightclubs.

The Costa de la Luz / Cadiz Province region

Costa de la luz has both meditteranean and atlantic coastlines, giving both rocky beaches and 76 miles of golden sandy beaches between tarifa and cadiz. The climate is ideal with sea breezes keeping the hotest days bearable. Sunshine is unlimited in this most southern point in Europe. The cities of Cadiz, Seville and Jerez are all within a days visit, reachable by local bus and car. the area is full of history and stories of romans and moors, which is evident in the local towns and villages.
Gibraltar is within a 35 minute drive and well worth a day out.
Algeciras has a waterpark about a 15 minute drive away.


Tarifa / El Cuarton area

Tarifa itself is an ancient walled town with many buildings of interest and even a moorish castle. The Med meets the Atlantic in Tarifa and this provides the ideal water conditions to give Tarifa the reputation of the windsurfing capital of Europe. There are numerous festivals and feasts in the area, each town and village holding its own.
The ferry runs from Tarifa to Tangiers, a journey boasted to be of 35 minutes, (I would take the timing with a pinch of salt) but a journey well recommended.
The ruins at Bolonia are a must, the dig is on going, and a new visitor centre has just opened (winter 2007). Take your EU passport and entrance is free.
A new supermarket has just opened at the end of the road, handy for basic supplies.

In summer time weekly rental is preferable saturday to saturday but we can be flexable. Wintertime shorter flexable bookings are considered.
30% deposit is required to be paid into english bank a/c before booking can be fully accepted.
Balance of payment is required on arrival with an 100euro returnable breakages deposit.
If the apartment is left in a bad condition a cleaning fee will be charged.


Conditions

For party bookings we can accommodate 4 people in the main house, ( 2 en suite rooms, 1 double and 1 twin.) 5 people in an upstairs private apartment (1 double room and another room with double and single bed) and the apartment as advertised with double bedroom, single bedroom and 2 sofa beds in lounge. Making it possible to accommodate parties of up to 14 people. Special rates apply.
