The Andalucia region

Andalusia is one of the most important regions of Spain, known throughout the world that opens its doors. It is a place where we can see the traces of civilizations (as Phoenicians, Romans, Tartesios, Carthaginians, Arabs and Jews) who passed through here, many years ago. These tracks are in the monumental and architectural landscape of towns and cities.

Andalusia also proposes a mix of nature: from the snow-capped Sierra Nevada, to subtropical and Mediterranean on the Costa del Sol, we can see mountains, plains, deserts and beaches. Variety makes the visit all the time is very desirable and wonderful for tourists. Also, Andalusia is a place of worship and traditional festivals.

Towns and cities do fairs throughout the spring and summer. Hence, light, color, fire, music are present and make out the beauty of the region. In short, Andalusia, has singular interest, which I am sure, you will dream, and find wonderful surprises and cultures.

Tarifa

Tarifa is a Spanish municipality in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia. In 2012 it had 17,962 inhabitants in a surface area of 419 km² with a population density of 42.26 inhabitants / km².

The meeting point between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, Tarifa is the windsurfing capital of Europe and the biggest gathering of shark tooth pendants this side of Australia, but remember that windy beaches don't make for good sunbathing.

The nearest airport to Tarifa is in Jerez, though Malaga and Seville aren't far away.

Windsurfing in Tarifa:

It is windsurfing that turned this small coastal town into a magnet for watersport enthusiasts. Have no fear if you've never windsurfed before: there are plenty of beginners' courses. Take a stroll down c/Batalla de Salado, the main street in Tarifa, and check out the prices. Sail & Board rental for a day is about 50€, lessons are similar. Kitesurfing is also catching on very fast.

Whale & Dolphin Watching from Tarifa:

There are a number of tour companies that offer three hour boat trip to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. Walk around the old town (at the end of c/Batalla de Salado) and you'll find a number of schools. Traveling to Morocco from Tarifa:

Just 14km of water separates Tarifa from Tangers.

"Nice Location Only. Advertised title is Beautiful Condo in Tarifa"

Difficult apartment to find. The address given to us was not valid on either google maps or apple maps. We emailed the person who organised the booking, Patricia 3 times to ask for directions. She onl… More

I have rented my house for over 2 years, to Spanish people and many other differnt nationalities and never had a problem. The house is very easy to find, it has more than everything you need... as you can see in the pics. If you are arriving late you should let the owner know, because the person in charge of the check in is waiting since the expected time you provided. About the 50 euros charged extra... you have to be ready at the check out time or aproximately.... not in bed, hamgover with no suitcases ready.... and so on. It was really nice from the cleaning lady to give you a couple of passports you were forgetting in a drawer since you were not ready at all. This is a bussiness and a service, you have to be ready to leave the house on time since there is more people coming and they need to find the house perfect plus the lady in charge lost another job that day because of your delay. All this client problem was the 50 euros charged because of her huge delay. About her comments about us, Spanish people, it is not worth it to answer... I have been living in London, Chelsea, for over two years, Naples.... etc. and travelled all over the world... Who do you think we are?
