Villa Ibiscus is located just on the beach, on the famous “Litoranea Salentina”. The house has recently been renovated and stands in 1000 m2 of garden. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the larger resorts such as Pulsano, the villa has easy access to all amenities, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The villa benefits from its own private garden, perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine out. With two double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Puglia/Molise region

The litoranea salentina is a coast with unique diversified landscape. The sea is the most important feature of this land. The coast in fact is prosperous of wonderful beaches, but also, bar, restaurants, bazaar.
From here you can easly reach a lot of villages, in the nearby or along the coast.Or you can visit the Valle d'Itria, a beautiful region with trees and white houses called “trulli” and a wonderful hill countryside. And why not, discover the beauties of the Salento region. Salento is that strip of land that forms the heel of the boot (lo Stivale). It is located between two wonderful seas: the Ionic (Ovest) and the Adriatic (East). There are more than 250 Km of coast which is at times low and sandy and at times high and indented.
From Villa Ibiscus to Leuca: Campomarino di Maruggio (20 km from Villa Ibiscus). Beside being a beautiful sea resort, it is an important touristic port. Torre Lapillo (40 km) with its beautiful inlet and crystalline sea.
Going up towards south, there is Porto Cesareo, today a remarkable touristic centre with 17 Km of beaches facing an archipelago of small islands of which the most known is the Conigli (Rabbits) Island. Also from this side the coast appears high and rocky and low and sandy, whereas the inland is composed by thick forests and bare rocks.
After some kilometres there is the naturalistic Park of Porto Selvaggio, with Capelvenere Grotto and Uluzzo Grotto. The waters of Uluzzo bay are inviting and transparent.
Now one reaches Gallipoli with its castle surrounded by high walls, the cathedral dedicated to S. Agata with the Baroque façade and other churches scattered around the city, the harbour for its trades and fishing, the Greek and Roman fountain and the courtly Palaces. On the horizon S. Andrea Island with its lighthouse is dimly seen
Leaving Gallipoli there is Santa Maria di Leuca: it is a pearl of the extreme strip of Italy and is located on a part of the coast alternated by cliffs and small sandy coves. Its several caves have an historical and naturalistic interest and its marine sounding-depth are a real paradise for underwater tourism. Its inland is full of history and culture, wonderful landscape to be admired, magnificent and colourful villa of the nineteenth century that slope down towards the sea-front.
VALLE D’ITRIA.One of the most touristic attractive areas of Puglia and one of the most beautiful landscapes all over the region is the wonderful Valle d’Itria whose territory includes the towns of: Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni.
Martina Franca (50 km from Villa Ibiscus) is a smart town settled 431 metres above sea level, lying over one of the last southern hills in the south-east of the Murgia area. It overlooks the charming Valle d’Itria. The main attraction of the town is definitely the old town centre, a typical example of baroque art, with its smart streets, its white lanes, its elegant mansions and its stately and monumental churches.

Taranto / Marina di Pulsano area

You can visit Taranto with the port, the “Ponte Girevole” (revolving bridge), the Aragon Castle, San Cataldo Cathedral, National Archaeological Museum. It is possible to reach some important beaches above all on the ovest coast, where there are many tourist structures in famous places like Lido Bruno, Gandoli, Saturo, Porto Pirrone, Montedarena - organized in suitable sea and sportive structures, restaurants.
Fatamorgana: 1 km far from Villa Ibiscus, there is a fully equipped beach, with beach volley, play ground, bar and self service.

How to get there

By air: from BARI PALESE. Follow direction Taranto. Cross the bridge “Ponte Punta Penna”. Take the exit:Taranto San Giorgio Jonico. Then follow San Giorgio and at the traffic light turn right (direction: Pulsano Faggiano Campomarino Lido Silvana) and go straight to Pulsano. Turn left in to the road “Cesare Battisti”, at the third crossroads (you cannot go straight) turn right. At the end of the road turn left. When you find the direction Campomarino/Litoranea, turn right and keep on. After 200 metres (on the left you will find Hotel Costa Azzurra) turn left at the second green gate, go down: Villa Ibiscus is at the first gate on the right.

The Villa has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and a sofa bed. One of them with sea view. From the the other rooms you can enjoy the beautiful view over garden. All of them have ceiling fan.
There are two bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower.
A wide living room with sofa, chimney, piano, television, DVD e frigo-bar.
Villa Ibiscus has a fully equipped modern kitchen.

Around the villa there are sheltered and open sunny terrasses, two of them with sea view.
From the back you can reach a beach with rocks, on the other side you have sandy beach.

Families with children are also welcome to visit our house. Don't bring any toys with you...we have enough for children between 3 and 12 years old.

You don't have to visit the tourist-office; we will give you all the necessary information about the region and its activities.

We can also offer you the "shopping-service" for the first 2 days. Just let us know in advance what you want to have in your fridge (and other food supplies) for the first two days, and we will take care of it (of course you have to pay the goods).

There is sufficient parking space.

The payment conditions are as follow: A 20% non-refundable deposit (with money wire) and a completed booking form are required to confirm the booking.
The rest of the entire amount will be paid cash at your arrival.
Security deposit: 200 euro which will be entirely refunded, if everything it’s ok, at your departure.
