The Ulivo is a modern apartment on the first floor of the Lemon Tree, recently refurbished, fully equipped for self catering purposes, has use of swimming pool, private gated parking and private terraces with spectacular views. The bedroom leads out onto its private balcony providing breathtaking views of The Ionian Sea and Mount Etna whilst the Lounge patio doors lead out onto a large private terrace where you can admire equally specatular views.
The Lemon Tree is located in a very peaceful part of the mountain and is perfect for returning after a day out, you can return with the knowledge that you are coming home to enjoy total relaxation and tranquillity.
Set within beautiful countryside, surrounded by Olive Groves and Vineyards it is a perfect base to discover the many wonders of Sicily. Just a short 10 minute drive takes you to the vibrant Taormina where you can stroll down the Corso Umberto, dine at one of its hip restaurants or take a trip to the ancient Greek Theatre. You can take a drive up to Mount Etna, visit the Gorge of Alcantara or simply spend the day on the beach.
The Lemon Tree apartments are located just a short 5 minute drive to the beaches of Giardini Naxos and other local amenities.

The Sicily region
Sicily is the most important Island of the Mediterranean sea. It is the widest and most populated region of Italy and neighbours the Aeolian Islands. Sicily is commonly known as "The Island In The Sun" and is rich in Culture, History, Art and Cuisine. One of the most spectacular attractions of Sicily has to be Mount Etna, the most active volcano in Europe, a truly amazing experience. The Lemon Tree apartments are strategically based allowing you to discover the many wonders of Sicily.
Taormina area
Taormina is situated on the coastline between Catania and Messina, with its 10,000 population this cosmopolitan town is set on a cliff, with breathtaking views of the Ionian sea, coastline and Mount Etna.
The Greek Theatre, Museums, Cathedrals and public gardens are all worth a visit. Alternatively just take a stroll down the Corso Umberto, with its designer clothes shops, ceramic artist studios and various bars, cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy the relaxed ambience Taormina has to offer. Explore the winding medieval streets and many secret passages, visit the local fish and organic fruit and vegetable market, soak up the vibrant atmosphere at one of the many charming bars or take the cable car down to the beaches.
The Lemon Tree is strategically placed allowing you to discover Taormina and the many wonders of Sicily. Enjoy your days out with the knowledge that you will be returning to a safe relaxing and tranquil environment.
How to get there
Flights into Catania are available via Air Malta, British Airways, Alitalia and Thomas Cook. Flights into Trapani or Palermo are available via Ryanair and Easyjet.
On leaving airports follow the A18 green motorway signs to Messina and come off either at the Taomina or Giardini Naxos junction, we are 5 minutes away from the Taormina/Giardini Naxos Train Station.
The Lemon Tree apartments are approx 40 minutes from Catania airport, 2.5 hours from Palermo and 3 hours from Trapani. On arrival at the Taormina/Giardini Naxos Train Station we collect you and take you direct to your apartment.

Further details indoors: The Ulivo is a modern apartment on the first floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 lounges with comfortable double sofa beds, fully operational kitchen, dining tables and chairs, 2 shower rooms and a large private terrace. The terrace has dining table and chairs and spectacular views of the Ionian Sea, Mount Etna and Taormina.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is set within private gated grounds, has access to the communal BBQ area and laundry. There is a private relaxation garden at the back of the property equipped with sun loungers. The car park has ample space for up to 12 cars and is secured with electric gates.
Table tennis, boules and table football are available for our guests.

We can accommodate up to 24 people, please enquire for further details. We require a completed booking form and a 50% deposit to secure your booking with the remainder payable on arrival.
