The Oasi del Fiumefreddo is a vacation residence with 6 apartments well located between Etna volcano and Taormina, it is at 600 mts from the beautiful beach Marina di Cottone, it has easy access to all amenities, including local market, bars and excellent restaurants for eating out. The residence has a private parking and the garden has lounge area with tables and chairs and a barbecue area. The apartments, with 1 or 2 sleeping separated rooms, fully furnished kitchen and bathroom, have satellite Tv, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer, bed linens and bath towels. It is ideal for families seeking relaxation, for people wants to visit all the attraction of the east coast (Taormina, Catania, Giardini Naxos, Etna volcano..), for people wants to swim in the cleanest sea of Sicily and for people wants to enjoy Taormina movida.

The Sicily region

Taormina / Fiumefreddo area

Fiumefreddo di Sicilia is a town overlooked by the Etna volcano. It is situated on the ionic coast, in a valley of citrus plantations near the fascinating Fiumefreddo River Nature Reserve where the river’s water, never over 10-15 degrees even in summer, has a slow flow that enhances the growth of aquatic plants and houses herons and many species of ducks. The great attraction is the long beautiful beach Marina di Cottone with its unpolluted crystalline blue sea. To visit: the 1700’s Castello degli Schiavi (Castle of the Slaves) built by the Palagonia family and designed by celebrated Vaccarini and Ittar and all the attractions of the surroundings ( Giardini Naxos, Taormina, Catania, Gole dell'Alcantara, Castelmola..) During summertime there are a lot of festivals in Fiumefreddo, some are with typical food.. some with music and singers on the beach.

Highway:
Messina Catania (A18) exit Fiumefreddo gate, on the right .. then, on the left, follow the signs to Riserva Naturale, Marina di Cottone beach or Marekampo.

Train station:
Fiumefreddo 1 km, Taormina 10 kms.

Airport:
Fontanarossa Catania (50 kms).
