Location Description

The Villa is located on the Alcantara Valley, close to Taormina,(about 8 Km.)and just 1 km from the towns of Graniti and Gaggi which offers fine restaurants, food markets, small supermarkets, fishmonger, bank, chemist, and a post office. However, you need not go that far to find, just down the road from the villa there are moderately-priced, authentic Sicilian restaurants. ( Paradise restaurant, Uliveto Grill) Local sights not to miss include the lava rock gorges at Gole Alcantara 6 Km. (created when eruptions from Mt Etna flowed into the sea) and the beaches of Giardini Naxos, San Marco.8 Km.and the more famous Taormina-Mazzaro' Isola Bella at about 10km.

Volcano Etna is about a 1-hour drive, 15 km away, other activities such as horse riding, scuba diving, and boat rentals are available locally.

Motorway A18 - exit Giardini Naxos- direction Francavilla di Sicilia -after the town of Gaggi about 1 km. follow the main road SS185 to Francavilla DO NOT GO TO GRANITI the villa is located above the Interbus bus stop turn right and drive up the private road (about 300 meters)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
