Large, attractive house with pool and diving board, large patio/garden nestled against a mountain, with a splendid view of the Alcantara Valley and Etna. Close to the ocean and the pleasant seaside resorts Taormina and Giardini Naxos.
The house has a sun lounge over the entire back wall. A permanent barbecue grill and pizza/bread oven are located in the sun lounge. There is a seating area with TV and three eating areas. The house has a fully furnished kitchen with an eating area. The living room is furnished simply in Italian style with a sitting area, fireplace and eating area. A bathroom with shower, toilet, lavatory and bidet is located on the ground floor. The first floor has two bedrooms with two-person beds and a smaller room with two separate beds. A WC with lavatory is also located on this floor.
The two-person bedroom has a TV, large clothes cupboard and commode. ** The villa faces on a large patio with two magnificent 150-year-old palm trees. The right side looks out over Etna with its plume of smoke. A swimming pool with a diving board is located at the side of the house. You can dive safely, since the pool is 3 metres deep under the board. The pool is surrounded by a large patio with a splendid view of the Alcantara Valley, with a glimpse of the ocean at the end of the valley. **Villa Aurora lies halfway up a mountain slope above the village of Francavilla di Sicilia. It has a view of the Alcantara Valley and several villages, including Motta Camastra, Francavilla, and Castiglione di Sicilia. The supermarket is round 1.5 km away, and the centre of Francavilla is about 1 km distant. The well-known seaside resorts Giardini Naxos and Taormina are approximately 15 km away. Catania (airport) is 75 km away, and Messina (harbour) is around 65 km distant.

Villa aurora iust just 75 km from Catania airport. From Palermo airport it will take 3 hours by car. We will sent you the directions to Francavilla di Sicilia and will bring you to the villa.

We had an excellent holiday in your villa in Francavilla. We enjoyed very much not only the geographical situation and the nice view of the house, but the large spaces including the comfortable living room, the well equipped kitchen and the well designed bedrooms have given us full satisfaction. And I have to mention the swimming pool which was the most frequented place during this hot Indian summer. Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality we all save good memory of Sicily and its nice people.

We woke up on the first day, enjoying the view on the valley and the quietness of the neighborhood. The house itself was on a good condition and is suitable for one big family or 2 smaller families. The rooms located on two floors were big enough to sleep and store all the belongings. There were 2(!) kitchens,one of them was a big one with for the people who really like to cook. Included also a real Italian Pizza oven heated by wood!There was also a large outdoor pool deep enough to dive and with enough water to keep the temperature cool during the daytime and warm in the night.There are quite a lot of activities you can do in and outside the house and also in a region nearby, so the house is especially suitable for a longer stay and for those who really like to take some time off by staying on location instead of collecting all the points by visiting every tourist attraction there is on the island. We especially enjoyed our own cooking in the house out of fresh products from local stores and the superb fish choice from the coast helped by above mentioned pizza oven in the second kitchen to experience some authentic italian food and pizza experience! And the wines.And of course, the weather We are going back there!

"We enjoyed our week in Villa Aurora very much. It is a lovely house in a lovely quiet location. It has wide terraces with lots of room to sit in the shade or the sun and swim in the pool when it gets too hot. The views to the sea and to Mt Etna are great.

Nice property overlooking the village of francavilla di sicilia. Stunning view of the Alcantara Valley facing the sea and on one side the Etna. Very nice to retreat to the house and get away from crowds and heat to enjoy the large swimming pool and spacious patio/garden. But when it's cold & cloudy rather be by the sea as the sky seems more clear and the coast gets more sunshine. If it's the case one can find the villa to be a little far from Giardini Naxos which is approx 18km - 20mins drive.
